  • This website seems to have a problem, I can't make a purchase or sign in.

    • We have just done an urgent fix to the issue. Sorry about the fuzz!

  • I encountered another bug while attempting to purchase 2 x Max Data Plan in Japan. The subtotal before reaching the checkout page was AU$37.49, but on the next page, the total due increased to AU$74.97.

    • Thank you for reporting the issue. We will get it fixed ASAP. For the mean time could you please try place two seperate orders? Thank you!

    • The issue has now been fixed. We really appreciate your effort to report this issue.

  • You should really have a guest checkout option.

Decent deal, but I don't particularly want to share any of my account details

    • Dear customer, Apple actually has an anonymous option to hide your account details, not sure if you are using iCloud Accounts though.

  • A pain in the ass to have to login/create an account only via fb/appleid/google.

  • Thank you for the above suggestion. We will provide email login option soon.

  • +2

Appreciate the deal, but still cheaper elsewhere:

See equivalent Japan (and all the other countries) plans at sub US$10 = AU$15.64 on esimdb, can even get 5g operators at AU$16.89

If these prices were closer to US$9.50 would be a good bargain

  • Are the China eSims 5G? And do they get through the Great Firewall? Heading there next week

    • +1

Yes you will get 5G where there is 5G reception. The carrier is China Unicom I believe. And yes you will be able to bypass census and use Google, YouTube and TikTok.

      • Awesome thanks. Will get one shortly

        • Or maybe not… cant create an account with FB rn so might have to do with someone else

          • @imbrad: Thank you. Do you prefer to use a username/password option? We are exploring to add this as an extra way of login.

            • @theesimguy: This has been asked for by us since your first post here.

              • @petestrash: This is on top of the priority list. Will be the next feature to ship.

  • Cannot purchase.. every time I go to checkout:

"Application error: a client-side exception has occurred (see the browser console for more information)."

    • Could you please send a support query through our website? You can add our support person's IM account there for quick resolution.

    • same here

      • Support has had a chat and the above customer and this was caused by ad blocker. Could you please try switch it off temporarily?

        Regards

  • I'm travelling to Europe next week, do you have any deals coming up?

  • I just purchased and got a QR code - can I add this to my phone and then turn it on in July for my China trip? Or should I wait till I land in China?

    • -1

      Yes definitely

      • Sorry, for which question are you answering the above to?

        • Sorry I should be more specific. You can add this to your phone and turn it on in July for your China trip (simply turn on Data Roaming for this eSIM). You don't need to wait to scan the QR code.

          • @theesimguy: So just confirming, the expiration is calculated from when I turn on Data Roaming when I reach China, rather than when I scan the QR code? Just making sure I don’t end up burning the eSIM before arriving :)

            • @b-t: That is correct, The meter won't start until you arrive and turn on Data Roaming. :)
