Vodafone is also sharing with Optus on regional network which makes the coverage as good as Optus. Keen to hear feedback from current Vodafone users.

What happens if I cancel my service before the end of my device repayment period?
If you cancel your service early, you need to pay out the remaining balance of your Mobile Payment Plan at the undiscounted RRP as you’re only eligible for receiving the device discount if you stay connected with us on a selected plan for the full device repayment period.

The remaining balance is calculated by taking the undiscounted RRP divided by your device repayment period (for example 12, 24 or 36 months) and multiplied by your remaining months.

    $1900 approx?

    • Yeah, about that.

  • How do you get the $39 ($49-$10) plan to $36.55?

    • Yeah something is wrong with OP's maths, it comes up as $82.70 for me on the small plan 24 months. Total cost $1423.37.

Thanks guys, my cart had more than one phone/plan and hence the lower rate. I have corrected the title.

  • @OP

Please tag properly including "Mobile Phone" for maximum reach

    • Thanks. Added Mobile Phone and iPhone 16.

Just found my motivation to leave Optus! Thank you! Incredible deal to get a iPhone pro max 1TB with the small plan for $108!

Iphone 17 4 months away so should see steep discounts in final quarter

    • +3

      same crap just different number

      • Then would you buy the iPhone 15 for $100 less than the iPhone 16?

    • +6

Steep discounts and Apple are never in the same sentence.
The iPhone 15 256GB was sold for $999 3 weeks ago and was considered a good deal.

      • Analytical skills are not the best for most. People still buy used iPhone 13 128GB at Market place for $500 and new iPhone 13 for 128GB for $789 was considered a deal and sold out pretty quickly

        • No wonder they hold their value so well, they don’t really have much competition.
Compared to Android devices, where everyone is running the same base AOSP with some alterations and can run the same apps, meaning competition increases and prices get pushed down over time, leading to mass depreciation over a shorter period.

not worth it, vodafone service is the worst. im in the city and not in a rural area and still the service sucks. telstra is the best and i went back to telstra. optus is 2nd best, but closer to vodafone then telstra.

    • Hi Hugh, which city are you based?

    • +3

Vodafone have doubled their network size

      • In rural areas..

      have to agree
im in sydney and i live in the st george area and the reception is terrible

    • How long since you’ve been with Vodafone?

The 5G network has massively improved over the past 12-18 months and has made a very noticeable difference to my experience (Western Sydney and Blue Mountains, with a commute into the CBD a few times a week).

The MOCN deal with Optus has dramatically improved the rural network, not just coverage but quality with Vodafone and Optus combining their spectrum licenses.

This is a good deal based on my recent experience with Vodafone’s network.
