Cricket Lighters - Where to Buy in Sydney Inner West

Not sure if this is the right forum. I'm looking for Cricket lighters. They're just basic lighters, similar to a Bic, but they are the best imo.

When I worked in Penrith there was a $1 shop that stocked em. I've since left the job so I'm located in the city and inner west. If any one has come across them, pls let me know! It's stupid, but I love those lighters lol.
Long lasting, constant flame and fun colours.

I think he just enjoys the fire

  • Just get a BIC.

But he doesn't want that. BIC, whether lighters or pens, just leave you unsatisfied.

      • Crickets suck though.

I dunno, bics are pretty rubbish these days. Reliable as hell, but it’s like they have half as much gas in them as they used to :(

Why do you want to light crickets?

The Original Cricket Lighters are basically discontinued in Australia.

The Original Cricket Lighters was distributed in Australia by Scandinavian Tobacco Group which has since been acquired by BAT (and no longer sells Cricket Lighters).

The new Cricket Lighters (distributed by PMI) that you'll find in most Tobacconist are now the Cricket Eco (so no more fancy fluro/fusion colours).

      Very informative!!

Just perplexing how much is around an innocent and in-transcendent lighter.

And yet a magnificent piece of design, engineering and simplicity … no wonder cavemenpeople were so uptight about fire.
