Ozito PXC 18V 2-Speed Hand Vacuum 2.5Ah Kit $99.98 Delivered / C&C / in-Store @ Bunnings (Limited Stores)

210

Looks like a another small run promo kit. Vacuum on its own is $89 so essentially a 2.5AH battery and charger for an extra $10.98. Not the best deal ever, but still a saving.

Not a lot of stock around. If the pic direct link doesn't work it probably means no stock in your area. https://bunnings.youinstock.com.au/search/0738792

I had one of these tool only, but replaced with this kit from a previous deal, https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/880129

I thought it was quite good with decent suction, One important thing though is to keep the filter clean. Easy to do as the gauze pre filter and the main filter are washable. Just a rinse under the tap and let dry.

Plenty of reviews on the tool only in this link, https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-pxc-18v-2-speed-hand-vacuu…

Air Flow: 17L/sec
Suction Power: 72 mbar (7.2kPa)
Dust Capacity: 600ml
Weight: 0.94kg

Cheers brah got 1 at me local!! Been waiting for a price drop for ages but the bonus stuff for $10 will do just as good

  • Does it have hepa filters by any chance?

    • No, just a fabric filter.

    I'd get the wet dry.

  • What’s the use-case for a vacuum like this over the cheaper Ozito Wet Vac? For the car?

    • Car yea

    • Car, garage and I also used it for cobwebs, spiders etc rather than using my Dyson.

Got you. Sounds like it's more portable, I'll continue using my Wet vac for that since I already have it.

        • Is this the 10l one? Is it worth it? Also the bags are pricey, but wondering if a normal 12l bag fits?

          • +1

@heavyoctopus: if you're just using it for dry material, the review on the 10l one on bunnings website suggests no bag even needed technically. Just clean the filter out.

@Jimothy Wongingtons: @Jimothy Wongingtons Yeah good point. Wet vac is sort of a just in case but not something I would use often if ever. You've tipped me over the edge looks like I'm ordering one! Thanks

      • Yup, brick dust kills the Dyson filter whereas this thing doesn't really care what it does.

    • I use it around the house, it's pretty darn good

Does it work well? Worth the price?

    • For me, yeah just did a car clean up - does the job and cheap enough I can just chuck it into one of my modular storage boxes and not care

Are the days of random Ozito sales for $30 a pop over? I amassed a small army of tools for next to nothing

Been some time since a good old fashioned Ozito took clearance (waiting to flesh out my Ozito collection - hoping for impact wrench next)

Grabbing chainsaws might limit your ability to post to ozbargain

      • same here! been on the hunt for one for a while now.

Stop me before I buy again!
I now have an Ozito obsession. I think it may be worse than the Eneloops obsession I contracted here.

    • +3

Yeah, I completely understand. When I was still working I was totally a brand snob, but Ozito is such good value. The tools are good and just so well priced.

I still have all my Makita gear, but just cannot justify the 2 to 3 times the price for tools these days as well as no longer using them for an income.

    • At least with Eneloops you’re getting like at least 10 years out of them.

    Bought one, thanks OP.

  • I have one of these from a while back. I found that out of the box is was heavier, noisier, and did not suck nearly as well as other similar stick/handheld format vacuums around the same price that I'd had. Eg: viomi, black n Decker. I hate using it.

  • Have this, piece of junk, spend your money elsewhere
