  • can this charge my ev?

    • Unfortunately no:(

    This bundle is perfect for:
    Professionals

    99.99% of ozb members then!

  • +3

Still one of the top powerbank in the market.

    • Very happy with the three I own.
Quality 21700 Samsung cells and proper thermal design so they can actually achieve what's advertised from 0-100%.

  • +1

"Can fully charge the MacBook Pro" …wow! "to 75%" …wait…

Anyway! Does this allow full time passthrough?
I notice it uses cylindrical cells, which puts it on my list as acceptable for a 12v UPS, but most power banks will re-negotiate the output, when you cut the input (making them not suitable for a UPS).

    • +1

You can charge this while having it plugged into devices for UPS like functionality.

  • What's the model no of the Xiaomi 67W Desktop charger ?

  • Xiaomi ZMI XMCDZ-01QM is the desktop charger ?

  • Any deals through the amazon store?

    • +2

We will participate in some of Amazon's mid-year promotional activities, but none of the deals will be as significant as this one.

  • If im understanding correct, it cant actually distribute 2x 100W simultaneously?

    210W total
    - USB-C 1 (orange): 100W
    - USB-C 2: 45W
    - USB-A: 65W

    • Yep. Total is total. Each has its own max

      • Yeh, they each have their own max, both USB C 1 and USB A can do 100W. just not at the same time.

      • +1

tbh these power bank marketing should avoid doing this in their titles.

Anker had the "87W" powerbank, but 65W max out of one port.
they also have the "112W" charger for $53.95 right now, but it can only to 30W max out of one port! terrible. https://www.amazon.com.au/Anker-Desktop-Charger-Charging-Inc…

also need to be fair and mention INIU that i posted before, the marketing makes it seem it does 100W in and out, or 65W in and out for the other model, but they actually do 100W out/65W in, and 65W out/45W in.

but putting the total of all ports is the worst, obviously people who don't know much about this marketing will buy the one with the highest number. 😐

    • It can with 100w usb a and c. Im pretty sure i saw someone test it in a review too

      https://mostlymelbourne.com/cdn/shop/products/7_81dfdd87-6c6…

    • It looks like you're right, it can't do 2x 100W at the same time.
      https://mostlymelbourne.com/blogs/review/zmi-20-qb826g-power…

Update: actually, the USB A port can do 100W using a certain protocol, but I'm not sure if it can do that at the same time as the USB C port.

  • Would have bought it made available on Amazon

  • Can anyone explain how the HDMI port works? If this was a USB hub it would make sense. But this is a charger?

    • It's a power bank, it charges portable devices such as laptops, tablets and mobile phones. It's nothing to do with HDMI ports or USB hubs.

      • +2

The desktop charger includes HDMI output, and additional AC ports. I believe its acting more like a dock/hub, with passthrough for 67W charging.

      • Apologies. I was looking at the included charger.

        • My bad, I missed the bit about the bundled charger!

As v00d00 AU said, it looks like this Xiaomi charger can act like a powered laptop dock or hub: so you plug your laptop in via USB C cable to charge it, and you can also hook up an external monitor or TV via the HDMI port.

I'm not 100% sure if this is the correct product listing, but the details seem to align:

    • +1

I've not seen a charger that includes a USB hub / HDMI port before so it caught me by surprise.

Personally, I think I would much prefer that it was a 100W charger, but still good value.

  • +1

Just to be sure, is the power bank on offer the QB826 (stated in deal description) or the QB826G (stated in deal title)? There are some differences between the two.

    • Title on their product page:

      QB826Global Version

      Also 210W is QB826G.

      • Yeah that sounds about right. Funny thing is, their product page also says:

        Input Interface:Micro Usb

They don't seem to pay much attention to detail at all 😅

  • Love the deal, but the website is 💩

Looking at the product page for Xiaomi 67W Desktop Charger you click on a picture, and then scroll up to see it. But with 23 pictures this gets hella annoying lol

    • haha gonna delete some of them

  • yay! welcome back
I still think my ZMI QB823 65w powerbank was the best i've ever had, but its circuit board died and wont change anymore :( batteries are fine which is annoying.

Hopefully something similar comes up (65w, 20k, usb-c hub, sub $100)

  • @MostlyMelbourne Is the Desktop charger AU/NZ compliant as from the model no it's a CN plug or have you got the global model

  • I've had two ZMI QB826G and they self-discharged within a month. The first one was replaced. I haven't bothered with the second one. It's just sitting on a shelf as a brick.

The 210W marketing and 20,000 mAh "rule of thumb" limit in some countries can make it difficult to take the powerbank onto high speed trains and planes.

    Maybe try something else.

  • Sold out?

  • Looks like it's sold out unfortunately :(
