Dell SE2725H 27" VA 75Hz FHD Monitor $103 + Delivery ($0 C&C/ in-Store) @ JB Hi-Fi

520

I was on the hunt for a budget-friendly monitor to set up a desktop for the kid, and I stumbled upon this one. It’s currently priced at $103, which is $136 off its original price of $239. JB Hi-Fi is selling it for a great price, but it’s worth noting that it’s a budget-friendly monitor, so it might not be the best option for everyone.

Can also combine with this offer if buying three of them maths will be $309 for 3 less $30 = $279

    Here before the FHD comments

I’d happily sell my 27” FHD IPS for $100 lol even on marketplace idk if it’d sell FHD really doesn’t look good on 27”

  • +4

Honestly for these specs this one, is probably more worth it. Screen size and contrast drops but 120hz and IPS vs 75hz and VA is a huge difference.

@Sunnyoz get this one, way better for your kid.

      • Too late mate ,already placed the order will try putting it on and see how it goes

  • +2

8 ms reaponse time… are we still living in 2011 or what?

Paying $100 for a 1080p monitor in 2025? Why not just buy from a second-hand marketplace.

    • +1

At marketplace people selling 27 fhd for 100, 150.
Only the bad bad conditions goes for 70.

    • Did you have a look at the facebook marketplace ? Can’t find anything brand new 27” for $100 ? Don’t know where are you searching all this info ?

      • +3

Marketplace sellers are bunch of delusional they only think oh i bought this $300 now i must get $250, forgot they have used it for 4 years, many scratches and in the shop now brand new is $240

  • I guess the regular price is $129?

Lenovo 24" used to sell for $99 and $27" for $127
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/884048

    • The usual price seems to be about $129 , the lenovo one you are refering above is about $197

      • +1

Those are also IPS panels which give much better colour accuracy, viewing angles etc

  • +1

For kids maybe fhd okay but for adult 2k on 27" is perfecto

  • +5

1080p at 27" and a VA panel is not even worth 50 bucks honestly

    • +3

Just look how much people are selling on facebook…

      • To idiots who just look at the size and don't have a clue what resolution means.

        • And when we give legit link to the same size mobitor same resolutin brand new at shop at the same proce they asked, they get angry and say dont low ball me

  • Nothing special sorry. JB just massively overpriced to begin with.

    • +1

Must've been a price error, it's $129 on red hot deal now.

1080P monitors should not be over 24” as the image.especially text becomes horribly blurry unless you sits a mile away.

IT at work purchased 1080P 27” monitors and I’ve hated them for it since. It’s truly disgusting to use.

    • +6

no arguments but that isn't a valid reason to neg.
I wouldn't get one for myself, but I got a 27" FHD for my parents; they're 70 and get more value from the size than from the number of pixels.

    • +1

Agree 27 at fhd in thr office. Hate them. So little real estate so waste

  • -7

    8 ms I so 2010 🤭

    • When I use Excel I demand instant response.

    • Whats with all the negs? Its as if you're no longer allowed to neg a deal on Ozbargain anymore.

Back on topic: I remember magazines used to specify 8ms as good and something to look out for? Havent kept up with monitors for a while now. Is fast before really no longer enough?

  • Mention a budget monitor for the kids … AND everyone loses their mind!
