all time low on this. previously posted it for $349.

1.9% CR for those who are quick enough.

it's also the same price on their eBay page for those who have discount EB GC or something. more than 10 available. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/156462138349

I really want it but no way I am paying $300 for a bluetooth speaker no matter how good it is.

speaker has no IP rating and it says "you can enjoy the Harman Kardon Go + Play 3 anywhere in your home" so I assume it's designed for playing inside your home. the woofer is also on the bottom with nothing protecting it. again probably really is for use in your home.

edit: one more comment I have on the Go Play 3 is it DOES NOT charge via USB, it only charges with AC cable. so if you think you can put up with the battery life outdoors, and charge it up again with a power bank you will not be able to do this.
I actually didn't realise this until a user commented on the Onyx deal about how the AC plug on the speaker broke. my only tip for this is, try to push the AC cable in straight. I always did this since forever, but I know some people that "wiggle" the plug in for some reason. I think if you push it straight in it will last longer.

reviews and feedback say it has deeper bass than Boombox 3, but Go Play 3 doesn't get as loud. battery life also not great when playing loud. same experience as the Onyx speakers.

  • While I was reading the Bing Lee listing, I had a pop up for $20 of my first order. As long as there’s no strings that would bring it down some more.

The thing sounds like a beast.. almost 5kg.

    • actually I signed up recently to try use the $20 off on a small order, but it only works with unusually very high spend.

I just checked the email it's $199 minimum spend so yes it will work on this deal.

  • A2DP? 2005 called, they want their codec back. Or I guess if you want good sound quality you could use the 3.5mm socket for lossless audio.

    Oh wait missing that too

    • afaik A2DP isn't a codec but the profile. nearly all bluetooth audio uses it.

codec is usually described as SBC or AAC. Go Play 3 supports SBC only. but I wouldn't let that complete your decision it is a very good sounding bluetooth speaker.

  • Not an audiophile, but the brand new onyx 9 is being sold on Amazon for an amazing price. Bluetooth 5.3 and looks pretty stylish in my eyes.

    • Bluetooth 5.3

yeah Onyx 9 is a newer model. Go Play 3 is only BT 5.2.

  • wow you guys cleared them out. no more available on ebay store either. didn't think it would be that popular.
