  • Mine expired in Nov 24 and I paid the $5 to get it for 1-month in Jan for a big purchase…

This $10 offer worked for me, cheers … (I'd never pay the $50 for it, lol)

  • After purchasing the $9.99 offer, when I click on the My Summary page, there doesn't seem to show any discount codes like how it did last Nov 2024.

All it shows is My Watch List and Orders all on the same page with no offers or codes which it used to do.

    • The monthly codes will appear in time, they seem to have set dates to dish them out…

      • Thanks for the update on that! 👍

  • Hurry up ebay mine expired a couple days ago lol

  • Nice :) thanks OP

  • Does eBay plus give you any extra value as a seller?

  • Did not get it
Full money . Not even worth it though

  • Is this supposed to still give $5 coupon per month?

  • They can jam it. It's still ebay, with all the feral store extras and scamming drop shippers. After they did not protect me with a broken item (as promised) without jumping through return hops, rather than send the replacement, to save me a 2 week wait, I asked to cancel freshly renewed full price ebay plus, only to be told I can't get any pro rata refund. So stuck with a fake ebay plus warranty that isn't worth the paper it isn't printed on.

TDLR.Good luck, this is the max you should pay for this sleight of hand service.

  • Just made an account, can't see that option

  • Im not a new customer, previous ebay plus member, membership lapsed but i got the offer. Thanks OP.

  • Offers and codes seemed to turn up when I didn't need them and expired before I did, so there wasn't any point in Ebay+.

I have found sellers now taking their time to post, even with Express Post, and weekends don't help with the delays.

  • I cancelled last month and don't see anything.

  • Not worth $10, and certainly not worth $50 - spending $150 to get $40 back

  • Got the txt, signed up for $9.99 then payment got declined, it got cancelled and said to try again. (I think an issue with my ebay/paypal payment agreement. Was using an existing one, should have cancelled and set up a new one)

Go to try again and now wants to charge $49.

Tried live chat, didn't really help much, "they are looking into it and will get back to me"

Oh well, saved myself $9.99 I guess.

To their credit, they did get back to me fairly quickly and offered to refund the difference if I signed up again at $49.

On another note, while poking around in eBay preferences I came across an interesting setting that is turned on by default, and if you're like me think should be opt in, not opt out.

      • I had the same issue, and they offered me the refund of difference too.
So did you sign back up?

        • Yeh. Signed up and replied their email to confirm yesterday, got an email back today saying they have processed the refund.

they raised the $5 voucher minimum from $25 to $50, sucks

Got a $40 coupon with $150 spend, WTF!!

  • I'm getting a banner ad to renew for $19 (membership expires next week) - but when clicking banner ad can't renew so there's that, lol.

  • I just got the offer this morning, and looked at the T&Cs. My Plus membership expired in November 2024.

    So, if I got this right;

    • I pay $49 now for a Plus membership which now gives me very little.

    • Sometime after 16 July 2025 (2 months time) the give me a $40 voucher. This means that the voucher arrives AFTER the EOFYS sales have finished, and I think probably coincides with Amazon's Prime Day sale (when everything on Amazon is cheaper than eBay).

    • I have to find something that is over $150 AND an item that displays the code PLUS40 (an "Eligible" item) AND I only have a month to use the voucher or I lose it and the Plus membership costs me $49 anyway. Knowing how "generous" eBay is with their "useful" eligible items, this sounds like me spending over $150 on something that I don't really need to save $40 - just to say that I only paid $10 for my Plus membership. If the voucher could be used on anything (even over $150), I might go for it, but being at the mercy of eBay as to which items are eligible is a bit like trying to win Lotto.

Something about this doesn't sound like a great deal to me. I might pass.

    • Different offer? If you're eligible for this one, when you click the button to join the plan price should say $9.99 for the year.

      • Maybe it is different - mine says $49 and get a $40 voucher (bringing it back to $9). My offer sucks IMO. If I only had to pay $10 up front with no voucher I might re-join.

Reading above it looks like some others got the same offer as me as well.

Yes, I received the same offer as well, but I won’t be taking it. The maximum I’m willing to pay for a Plus membership is $9.99, without any minimum spend requirements.
