    Thanks bought not sure why.

  • Guess I better get on the boat too…..

  • seems to be a good deal - worth getting this over the aged but with 12g ram note 10+ ?

    • Have same thought, im with note 10+ as well. Still very capable phone with Android 12. Thinking to just replace the battery and give it another 1 or 2 year. Bought this g75 to replace wife aged xiaomi phone.

Some more ~$6 options instead of the cord grippers…

    Surge-protected double adaptor

    3m extension lead

PS thanks OP! I purchased with the wireless mouse.

    • Damn should have gotten the double adaptor

  • Is this a significant upgrade from Moto G54 5G? From this comparison I'd say no: https://versus.com/en/motorola-moto-g54-5g-vs-motorola-moto-…
Tempted as I don't love the G54 but at the same time I am afraid it'll be more of the same.

    • I feel the same about my g85.

    • i was the same as you, but the camera looks slightly better, wireless charging and faster charging, 4k recording, the g54 will also get no more updates on android whilst this will go to android 19 with security updates, this also has a better processor and the I actually needed some new basic wireless buds so at 260 is a no brainer.

  • Bugger, just bought from Good Guys on Sunday at $296.30 with price match :(

  • Good morning bit of a novice but how can I buy for $260 with supplied link please?

    • +3

need to have over 300 in your cart to save 40 with the code DEAL. so add something like the mouse ect.

    • +2

It's explained in the post, when bundled with any $6+ item.

  • combine with 11% upsized cashback for shopback plus

    • Was going to go through SB but promo code "DEAL" is not listed there. Did your purchase end up tracking?

    • Yeah don't think promo code deal works with SB

  • Does the G75 work fine for contactless payments? I'm reading conflicting information online

    • It has NFC so I can't see why not. Just read some reviews and users confirm it works fine for contactless payments in the US and EU.

    • yes ive used with google wallet

  • I'm overseas in Bali and can't open the good guys page :(

  • Is this an upgrade from the G51 5G? Camera better? Apologies, if I have the model incorrect. About a 3+ year old phone. Thanks.

    • Yes

    • +1

The G51 is nearly 3.5 years old. And no longer receiving updates. I know because I have one. Great phone but the G75 is an obvious upgrade. It's only just over 6 months old and the specs are heaps better.

just picked mine up this morning was ready at 9am :)

    • You must have gotten it early. Stock is out in NSW for 2-4weeks wait now. Is what rep said

    • Does it have duel sim?

  • got one, not sure if it's better than G85?

    • Did it come with a case, I've seen unboxing include it?

      • +1

        Yes it does.

  • Anyone knows if it has 2 physical sims as Motorola website says so but TGG says esim.

    • +1

      1 nano + eSIM

        • Seller's website is quite specific ie nano + esim

          Motorola website also says:

          1. Varies by market Check with your carrier or retailer for availability.
          • @jackspratt: Harvey is same as Motorola. So, not sure if Good Guys is different as other retailers are same as motorola

            • @ksehgal: Mobileciti advertises the same specs as TGG, as does Officeworks.

              https://www.mobileciti.com.au/motorola-moto-g75-5g-w-moto-bu…

If I remember correctly, when I bought my G54, there were the same questions around the retailer's specs, and the confusing Moto Oz website.

At the end of the day, if you don't get what is advertised by the retailer, just send it back for refund.

              • @jackspratt: Actually I am looking for Physical Dual sim phone. So, just wanted to know if anyone bought it from TGG can tell about it.

    • I have been searching and searching for an answer if it is duel sim

Youtube reviews are absolutely terrible , But one Australian guy said it was duel….

      What is the answer :/

      • +6

        Maybe try searching "dual"

        • -6

          wow such help….. Not!

      • I did some research. I believe in Australia it's a hybrid SIM. Esim + 1 nano slot

  • Is this phone and price better than the G85 deals?

  • I don’t really need it, but you guys make me want to buy one

  • +1

Perfect timing OP as I recently cracked the screen on my current phone. Black is out of stock so I had to get blue and pickup wasn't available so I had to pay an extra $3 for shipping. Used gift cards to the value of $250 to save 4% though. I didn't want to pay for a $300 gift card as I never buy anything from these guys apart from my old phone nearly 3 years ago and this phone. Anyway, thank you! I've upvoted both your G75 deals and the G85 deal too as they're good deals!

      Thanks. Enjoy the phone.

Shipping was $6 for me in Melbourne

      • Really? I was only offered two shipping options. One was for $3 and the other was for $5. I'm also in Melbourne.

        • +1

I think because the 2 items will be shipped separately. I picked the cable thing.

Bummer, got this SMS from TGG

Hi , Unfortunately, there was a technical glitch with your Web Order: xxxxxxx , your order has since been cancelled and a refund is in progress. Please allow up to 3-5 business days for the funds to reflect back into your original payment method. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause.

    • I almost negged you out of spite for TGG

    • I have 2 of them on the way. Do you want them from me ? Im planning to refund them.

  • Phone is on Backorder for me, anyone else getting this?

I do wonder if they will cancel the sale….

    • Where does it show that it is on "backorder"?

On my tracking page, it says

      "Awaiting picking
Status Description: Your product is arriving from our supplier and will be picked for you shortly. Youll receive an update from us as your order is ready to despatch."

That said, I do have an estimated delivery date of 20th May

I hope they aren't going to cancel all these orders :/

Just unboxed mine. It's loaded with bloatware, games especially. If you want it to stop updating these and installing new ones, go to settings -> Apps -> Uninstall "Moto App Manager".

  • Is this an upgrade/downgrade/sidegrade to a OnePlus 6t?

  • Anyone else get a $20 store reward voucher from TGG following the purchase?
