With Wollies.. Items are like 15% higher than the store.. and add around $6 delivery.. That eats up around 21%.. If you have the Wollies 10% discount.. That adds up to around 30% higher price.. So all you are saving is around 10% for all the hassle…
but you forgot uber eat gift cards are regularly discounted at 10%, so effectively 20%
also meat has the same price as in store.

Woolies coffee beans are showing <$20/kg and Coles coffee beans are $20/kg both before the discount. Not as good as lime blue for sure but at less than half the price delivered it might be worth it to some.
Trying to buy movie ticket still working yesterday but not now, 20000 tickets only 4000 clicks what gives.
Has anyone made an order today without the voucher dropping off? I made a complaint to uber about this issue happening to multiple people and they said they will look into it.

Mine dropped off. Contacted them. They haven't refunded but have given $40 credit. That is not expected.
I have the hold amount screenahot, which clearly shows voucher was applied when ordered, but invoice generated was of full amount.Thats a Shame.
Take screenshots, it appears some people are experiencing issues and a screenshot will help uber fix things quickly.
I did this with a scheduled order from petbarn a couple of months ago, when the discount disappeared and cart remained the same. They refunded me $40 promptly.
My groceries order today I saved 36% after paying with a discounted gift card and getting a larger percentage discount due to out of stock items. I mistakenly selected priority delivery, but still managed to get a huge discount.
If they leave the receipt in the bag, you can calculate your exact discount.
Agree, always take screenshots of promo and cart total showing the promo code applied before placing the UE order. Lesson learnt for the future.

Thinking of putting an order through Coles. Sum up from others' expierence, take screenshots through the checkout. Have item as 'refunded' than 'substitute', anything else? For whose order has fall under 100, has Uber refunded the voucher money or still struggling to get them refund. I mean, if process is pain and risk of Uber not honoring the discount if it falls under 100 are with taking? TIA
In the previous comments someone suggested to refuse substitutions and if the order falls below $100 it will still apply the $40 off. I can't comment on how true it is because I stupidly accepted a substitution and the $40 off didn't apply. Still waiting for uber to sort out a refund or a solution.
Recommend at least taking a screenshot of the last page with the promo code applied and the list of your order contents visible on it so they can't say it is a generic screenshot.

I had an order today where I asked for refunds for oos items. First item was ok but second item reverted it back to full price order with the promotion removed. If you are quick, you can ask support to cancel the order (I've done that before) or take the chances with support after for a refund. I took my chances with getting a refund and just got confirmation from support that I'll be getting a $40 refund - about 12 hrs turn around. They only asked for a screenshot of the promotion.
My order fell under $100 after the refunded items.
So seems like a hit and miss when it comes to out of stock items and substitutions as to whether the promotion will remain.. funnily enough it looks like I can still order $40 off $100 at different stores now

I did put in a Petbarn order after my grocery order. Perhaps it doesn't count Perbarn? Tempted to order again but also afraid the order may revert to full price again..

How can you cancel order before you get confirmation we what is oos and order fell under 100
While the person is shopping they will mark what is out of stock and if you check your order total it will reflect the changes eg whether the promo was removed when the item has been refunded and what the new total is. You should be getting notifications of when the shopper has marked something out of stock. If you want to cancel then it needs to be before the order is picked up I think and you go through the help button and get connected to support

Anyone had their case denied with Uber Eats? I placed a $103 order, and subtotal went under $100 so they took out the promo code. I then appealed to Uber Eats with a screenshot of the final cart page with the $40 off applied as well as the final charge amount that came through on email.
They just responded back saying we are unable to apply the promo to this order.
What the f***. Anyone knows what's best to do now?

Try to say that you are being charged more and receiving less items lol that seemed to do the trick for me

They rejected mine originally, then I went and contacted them through a message on Facebook and they asked for screenshots, order number and so on, they escalated it that way and they came back with a $40 refund + $20 Uber Cash as a sorry
Thanks, i ended up finally getting the $40 off through facebook chat. Love how the uber app support team is terrible, but facebook compensates for it.

Support seems to be useless, they messaged me back asking for screenshot/proof of the $40 off grocery offer. I reply with it then they reply back talking about HOYTS movie tickets and only 1 transaction per day will get the promotion. Clueless they are.
Lucky all got delivered, no dealing with Uber support.

just go to coles store directly, it should be there. It wasn't listed for me in 'Members Offer' as well but opening the coles store, promotion was there.
Nah not working either. Not for coles or woolworths. I've definitely got uber one, there's other deals like 50% chicken at hungry jacks and 30% off liqour land, but nothing on the grocery front.

still no refund for charging me the full amount without the $40 off
I scheduled a Coles order yesterday for this morning for just over $100. After $40 promo and delivery fees, the order is $66+. Today the Ubereats driver advised absolutely no eggs at Coles, causing my order to go to $80ish, and I got charged $80ish.
Still attempting to get a refund from uber eats since my order. Placed an order for approximately $125. Had one item ($2.50) OOS and two items were not correct and I was delivered much cheaper items instead. Order jumped up to $155 and Uber Eats is attempting to charge $35 to my revolut card most days instead of refunding me $25 for the incorrect items. Can't find a contact number
From my comment above, I went to support and they actually reduced my order by $40 (provided me $40 refund back to my Ubereats account credit). I used the Order help function.
*Uber just contacted me and resolved this by applying the $40 to my account and a refund as well
