We generally buy house supplies and essentials. you can put same items in Coles app to see how much you actually save. For us it was about 28 bucks. not bad!!

Looking at Woolworths branded stuff ONLY, they all have a a 10% markup applied.

For my cart (WW stuff only) I worked out it was 26% discount. Plus, can pay with 10% discounted GCs, which brings the discount up to 36%.

I've got a cart of stuff to checkout tomorrow: heaps of long life milk, heap of frozen chips etc to throw in the deep freeze as we're dangerously low

  • Just had some groceries delivered from coles, no problems with the discount and saved me taking the kids down to the shops in the rain. Thanks OP!

    • Did it automatically apply? Did you have to put in a code?

      • I would like to know as well, I am planning to buy from coles.

Anyone have the link for stan offer ?
I dont have it under my uber account

  • +1

Does anyone know if the $40 off $100 can be used once for each store or just once across all stores?

    • each store!

    • +2

      Hack
Can order multiple times from the same store with &40 off before the previous order is delivered

  • +2

I saw the Stan offer, clicked through, got a "Something went wrong" error, and now the offer is gone.

  • Anyone know how to bypass the need to spend 20$ for the 1$ big mac, can u pickup?

    • Yeah $9 including delivery for me isn't exactly worth it for a cold big mac

      • -1

Also any first order discounts? All the ones ive tried say expired

    • If you make the big mac into a large meal, the total (without the discount) still amounts to $20. So just add a little bit more to make up "$20" and it should be around $11 something delivered

  • All these deals makes UE drivers busy!

    • Keeps the economy wheel going round and round…round and round…round and round :)

  • +1

    Stan offer disappeared. /Fail

  • When does the grocery one expire?

  • jeez - my nearby coles and woolies are getting cleaned out with these offers

  • Can someone post the 40$ off link for grocery? I can't seem to find it in the app.

I see Big Mac, lilo and iconic offers only.

  • Thanks OP. Ordered and received Coles order in 30 minutes, my weekend is now free!

  • +1

    Stan promo disappeared for me

  • +1

Thanks OP … 2 tickets booked, 2 drinks and 2 popcorns for less than $10 …

Was going to pay full price for all of these already so that's an extra $40 or so :)

    • Did you use 2 Uber accounts to get 2 tickets? Mine only lets me buy 1. Can buy multiple popcorn/drinks though.

      • +1

Nope for some reason it just let me add 2x quantity for the tickets. I did choose 2 seats when it asked me for where I want to sit though. The receipt says 'Uber One Offer x 2' . If its of any relevance I signed into my account before placing the order

  • +1

Cold Big Mac meal for $12… no thanks

  • +2

Got the Stan offer now. Claimed it. Just need to put reminder to cancel it in 3 months

    • Where did you go to activate it?

      • In uber apps, i think they are gradually add the offer as i didn't have it earlier

    • Does the Stan offer include sports?

      • Have to add

  • +1

What is the best thing to bulk buy from Uber Coles?

    • +4

      Olive oil

      • Bought some Coles EV olive oil and grass fed clarified butter 😂

        • -1

How muçh is the olive oil becomes ? Is there any service fee ?

  • any bulk buy ideas??????????????? Woolies or coles or even IGA

    • Ghee
      Olive oil
      Butter
      Eggs

  • +2

The Stan code T&Cs explain it is 3 months premium for new Stan subscribers only. The code provided is a sign-up code.

    • Yep when I logged in with my non activated account it told me it was for new customers only.

Ways to get around that but maybe worth a mention.

  • Is the grocery offer targeted? Have the Hoyts and Big Mac offers but can't see the grocery one..

  • +2

If this was per retailer for groceries think it's been ended, could only use once

    • managed to get 2 orders in for $40 off earlier - one each @ coles & Woolies

      • Yeah that's what I was trying to do but I think they closed that loophole, I took awhile finding stuff I wanted at Coles that didn't erode the saving

  • +1

Managed to sign up for Stan. Note, if you cancel straight away it's only valid for that month, so better put reminder to cancel on 3rd month.

  • +1

    Stan working now

  • Can't get petbarn to work? added over $100 to cart. Is there a code?

  • When does grocery thing expire. Saves $40off and 20off

  • Cant see stan

  • -1

can anyone pm me the link to movie, please

  • I just bought a ticket with this deal at a VIC Hoyts. The code changes every 15 minutes.

You’re able to buy tickets for another Hoyts cinema. That tells me they (at least VIC) share the same code, they just change every 15 minutes.

The cinema machines don’t accept Uber One in-cinema codes. There’s no way to put it in.

You can visit the counter or buy on your phone while you’re there.

Added tons of stuff I didn't need just to reach $100 but then I calculated the items from instore and compared them to uber with the discounts and it only ended up being $12 in savings.

    • There are suggestions in the comments, I did Pepsi max / lemonade 30 packs, only a few dollars more

  • Got charged full price one thing was out of stock

    • Did you pay with gift card?

      • I did, the end total was more and the extra cost charged to Paypal at full price.

      • No just credit card

    • +1

      same happened to me

    • +1

My shit was worse. I got charged for full price and everything was in stock. I put in a complaint

  • Does uber crazily mark up the grocery price as well, just like the food options from restaurants?

    • Nvm, saw the answer from few comments above

  • All eggs are out of stock in coles/ww near me. Same for good brand olive oil. :(

  • +3

Order didn’t fall below $100 but had to approve two substitutions. Promo removed. I have contacted uber with no reply yet. Disappointed

    • I’ve had the same thing happen.. lame uber..

    • Try contacting them via their social media.

      • Thanks. They are a lot quicker on facebook. Already got refunded

        • Did you have to send a screenshot of the promo? I've contacted them via the app and they've asked for one. As it was used in my order its no longer visible in the app…. :(

          • @axloz: I didn't send them screenshot

          • @axloz: Just give them the Order ID, email and Phone via Facebook chat. Ca confirm had a quick resolution

            • +1

@Phirewall: Asking for screenshots and pretending that they have no clue of this promo. I mean I can imagine the order of 10-20items getting revised a majority of the time so majority of orders yesterday would’ve faced this issue. It’s pathetic what’s going on with their rectification of this issue

  • +2

Ordered from Coles for $100.50, shopper went above and beyond with getting the 2x more expensive stuff and the total charged is $110 with the discount removed. So annoying

  • +6

Warning to everyone don’t bother. If any change is made the discount will be removed. It’s so dodgy.

  • +4

Ordered over $100 at coles. a couple items were missing, looks like the $40 discount has been removed because of that. not happy.

  • +5

Original order was about $104. One item unavailable and was swapped (based on the substitution that I had selected). New total $107. $40 voucher was removed.

    Now $40 voucher also disappeared.

It appears as long as there’s an item substitution, the $40 voucher gets removed.

    • yeah same thing happened to me. raised a ticket and see what happens

    • It's better to choose refund the item if not available.

      • If your total is close to $100 it will drop to below $100

        • Yes but the voucher will still be there.

          • @PissLUR: Oh so you tested this and the voucher still applies when the total drops below $100 due to selecting refund when item is unavailable?

            • +1

@ilovefullprice: Yes. It will turn up with better discounts if multiple items are unavailable.

My subtotal dropped to $96.75 and the discount was still there

      • +1

Not always the case! I put refund on my order if not available on my order and had the same issue of the discount being removed.

        • Was it from a different deal or this deal?

          • +1

@ilovefullprice: It was the $20 off $40 deal. It just happened to me last week.

            • @liz1234: It could be because it was a different deal.

I suspect the developer working on this deal overlooked the situation when there is a substitution made on the order.

  • Lilo and Stitch is oos

    • Whole farm and extended fam x friends are going to see it same session. Huge.

  • What are we watching on Stan these days? Prefer movies over series.
