[Box Damaged] DeLonghi Multigrill 1100 Grill with Thermoprobe $134.25 ($124.25 eBay Plus) Delivered @ De'Longhi eBay

291
DLFRENZY25PLUSSS

I was the market for a decent electric grill, spotted the DeLonghi MultiGrill 1100 for $349 at HN and to my surprise, Delonghi's eBay store appears to have box damaged units listed for $179 and it currently running a 25% off promotion bringing the price down to $134.25 and using PLUSSS for eBay plus members brings it a further $10 down to $124.25!

Delonghi appears to also have some coffee machines/toasters listed that are eligible for the 25% deal so could be a great buy for anyone in the market!

This is part of Click Frenzy deals for 2025

    [Box Damaged]

But eh, I'm sure the appliance itself is fine

    • thanks for spotting, added to the post!

  • +1

best toastie maker ive ever used. think i paid more than this when everything was 50% off highly recommend.

  • +3

You can use code 'SSNOW' if you don't have eBay Plus.

  • +1

    Bought, bargain at that price

  • OOS? My friend has one and this is so good! Makes toasting sandwiches so easy.

    • +1

back in stock if you're quick!

    • +1

Whats the difference between this and a regular sandwich press ? I thought toasted sandwiches were easy, how much easier can it get ?

  • OOS

    • back in stock if you're quick!

  • Bought one, although the PLUSS code didn't work for me, despite having eBay Plus.

Thanks, OP - I've been eyeing off various Breville sandwich maker specials on Amazon, and this has more functionality at around the same price as the one I was looking at.

    • +1

Temp probe is a bonus for those juicy steaks

      • Honestly, I hadn't even thought of that; I just wanted a sandwich press with both grill and flat plates; and this is ~$200 cheaper than the Breville version.

    • The code is PLUSSS you were missing one S

      • I copied-and-pasted it, including the space that came after it, and it only had two S's in the post at that time.

        • OP put the wrong code.

  • appears to be back in stock!

  • +1

why would you need a probe?

    • Check internal temp of meat. If you like rare or medium rare

        • +2

Not about cooking. Its about achieving the right internal temp

          • -4

@easternculture: yeah i realise, but you don't need a probe to know if it's medium rare, you just touch it.

            • -3

@[Deactivated]: To cook a medium-rare steak, you'll want to sear it on high heat to create a flavorful crust, then reduce the heat and cook it until the internal temperature reaches 130-135°F (54-57°C). Rest the steak for a few minutes after cooking to allow the juices to redistribute before slicing.

why would you need a probe?

      Ask your GP.

  • And oos again zzzz

    • didn't even realise it was back in stock haha, was just checking the silly probe part, but now i kinda want it, but can't anymore

    BE AWARE!!!!

Hey guys I've just went onto delonghi's official website's live chat to check if they have a store on ebay.

Gave them the store name and the seller id and the response was "We do not have a Delonghi store on Ebay"

    • +2

hmmm yeah, also they have negative feedback too, beware!

    • +2

Yeah, nah. Not going to cancel my order so you can buy it

      • +2

hahah def not buying it bro. Look at the reviews… I don't even know where this guy sourced his grills from lol

    • just got a notification from Auspost, this was shipped directly from "De Longhi Australia Pty Ltd, NSW"

guessing the live chat goes to a global live chat not an AU live chat so the agent probably has no clue what Delonghi AU is doing.

      • Haha .. more FOMO for @OzBargainer4Eva

        • -2

Relax bro are you 12? I was never in need for one. Instead of looking out for each other you're just there being a clown. lol

          • @OzBargainer4Eva: Nah. You were spreading misinformation with no proof and potentially many ozbargainers cancelled or didnt make an order because of your immature comments.

You see who is the clown now

      • I'm glad I'm wrong! No one gets scammed

      • Just got my official invoice from delonghi australia

  • Dangit, just saw this so missed out. Needed something like this for being stuck in shitty hotels for work

    • +2

just buy a 20 buck one from kmart

    • +1

I think you might have missed the bullet. This is not a legit delonghi store anyways.

      • Seems strange they've been around for a few years, unless they just recently changed their name. Interesting if truly a scam seller.

        • Just over 2 years

Interestingly this is the first time a deal has been posted for their eBay store

  • +1

Does anyone know a brand that doesn’t use Teflon for a coating in a sandwich press? So essentially a stainless steel one.

    • +3

Look at commercial ones, mate recently bought one from a catering supply place for a few hundred

    • I wouldn't worry about that, the teflon wears off after a few years, there wouldn't be much left.

    • I do them in the fry pan. No gadget required.

  • sold out

    • +1

Well this is not a legit delonghi store anyways.

      • +2

Lol this guy. Has been slapped hard by FOMO

        • +3

Not fomo at all :S I just don't want people to have bad experience with it. This is a community where we look out for each other.

  • does it come with the waffle plate?

    • According to the unboxing video, it does

      • cool, i'm ready to order…..oh shiiiii unavailable! doooh

      • +1

Not listed in the parts list? It's an optional extra you can buy but I haven't seen it listed as an included item?

        • yeah it probably would never have been included, even if it were real.

    • +1

      No chance.

  • This is probably deal of the day :(

    • +1

      fake

  • How does this compare to ninja foodi xl? https://ninjakitchen.com.au/products/ninja-foodi-smart-xl-gr…

    • +1

the ninja tries hard to do everything, but not well enough as a dedicated griller, but if you want an air fry oven thingy majigy then you can sorta kinda have a fan forced oven combined with a grill combined with a broiler salamander type thing that can also heat from the top at the same time as grilling from the bottom.

Seller has added more as a new listing and increased the price by $20 (now $199)

      sighs, no deal!

  • Just got a tracking number (that doesn't work yet) and invoice from Delonghi directly. Looks like the eBay store is legit.

Great deal assuming the unit arrives without physical damage! I've been after a good height adjustable sandwich press for a long time and this one seems to be superb value

    • Looks like its official, have invoice from Delonghi too

  • +1

Just received mine, was shipped in the original box with no extra packaging, box was slightly dented but grill was perfectly fine.
Strong "teflon" smell when I pulled it out and during first cook, quite happy with it so far.

    • If worried about teflon, put foil over plates when cooking

  • +1

Received mine this morning, not sure why this is labelled as Box Damaged - this is no worse than the box you'd pick up from JB or TGG out of the back.

It shipped in the original box so I'm guessing "it could be damaged in transit"?

  • +1

    Mine just got delivered also.

The box has very minor damage. I wouldn't think twice if receiving this from any retailer as brand new.

The tax invoice and warranty are the cherry on top.

    What a great deal!

  • +1

Just received mine, box is actually in good condition, can't find any damage. Excellent deal.

  • Not a single dent on my box

  • Perfect here also

Anyone found a source of cheap additional plates or waffle plates?
(I assumed the unit came with a set of each flat and grill, but seems it's only one flat and one grill, so if you want a flat press going to need to find an additional flat plate)

  • Just received mine, box was fine. I didn’t get the thermoprobe.

    • What model number is written on the box
