Lenovo Tab P12 Tablet with Pen $349 @ ALDI

800

Part of their upcoming special buys.

A solid all round large 12.7" tablet.

Yes you can get the Xiaoxin version from Ali with some upgrades and hope for the best. But if you are ok with 60hz and want local warranty with 60 days to change your mind, $349 isn't too bad? I picked one up a few month back 2nd hand and it's been great for browsing/reading/YouTube/game streaming. Just got Android 15 as well. This also works pretty reasonably as a drawing tablet and whilst some may scoff at 60hz for this purpose, the pen is surprisingly smooth and responsive even on top of tempered glass. Tablet however is extremely slippery without a case and its large size is certainly not for everyone. Also, it's only USB C 2.0 so no video out. But when the screen is this huge, it’s not a deal breaker.

Resolution: 2944 x 1840 for crystal-clear visuals
MediaTek Dimensity 7050
8GB memory & 128GB storage for seamless performance
Wi-Fi 6
Corning® Gorilla® Glass 3
Quad JBL® speakers with Dolby Atmos® for immersive sound
Includes Lenovo Tab Pen for enhanced creativity and precision

Yes, they no longer break all the time

Some of the time is a big improvement

  • this happen to have any notable features ? especially bypass charging, so extended plugged-in gaming sessions don't wreck battery longevity.
also maybe video-in for productivity, though reviews seems to suggest this is a no.

    • +1

Nah those kind of features tend to come with ZUI only. Given this is a 2023 tablet it's less likely even with that.

  • This or the Lenovo tab pro?

Honestly, I’d spend the extra $75 and get the one from the newer deal. Higher refresh and even better processor. However, you are starting to push into entry level iPad territory.

Tks OP, got one for my daughter and she is thrilled!
I reckon this is one of the best budget large-screen tablets witha pen for digital painting.

I find it works surprisingly well with pen even though 60hz. And the pen feels really nice in hand.

I'm very happy with this tablet! Thanks for posting the deal. The pen works great, the screen is awesome and the battery too. Great value for money

    • Can you share the receipt, will try to get this from officeworks, the link not showing up on Aldi anymore

  • Is this model still for sale at Aldi? Would office works price match (if they've got the same sku in stock?)

Edit: I can read, honest! So it's not at Aldi anymore, so probably not.
