  • thank you, appreciate the support! This will make your plants thrive

Let me know if you have any questions on how to get the most out of it
Keen to see how your garden goes

    • will this help with buffalo grass?

      • Hey,

yeah, it's great for buffalo grass. Use the standard rate (4ml per litre) every 2 to 3 weeks for healthy growth and colour & apply during the cooler parts of the day if possible

  • Any benefits of this over charlie carp liquid fertiliser?

    https://www.bunnings.com.au/charlie-carp-5l-all-purpose-conc…

    • +1

      hey, yes there definitely are:

first would be that Charlie Carp’s 10-1-6 ratio is pretty unbalanced for most plants — it’s heavy on nitrogen but low on phosphorus and potassium. Ours is a more balanced 20-20-20, which supports better overall growth, including roots and flowering. It’s also more concentrated, so you use less. Plus, we include essential trace elements which should not be overlooked and there’s no strong odour to deal with.

      • Thank you. Got one

Thanks for the support! Let me know how it goes or if have any questions, always love seeing what people are growing with it

  • It sounds like good stuff! I've been using Powerfeed, liquid potash and dynamic lifter for my chilli plants and this looks to be more cost effective for my needs.

4L is a lot though and liquid fertilizers degrade once opened. How long does it last once opened before it starts to degrade?

Would buy this immediately for 4 x 1L bottles!

    • +2

      Hey,

      appreciate that!

The fact that it’s a mineral-based formulation, not organic like fish or seaweed products. These types of fertilisers don’t break down the same way, they are made from stable, water-soluble salts (like urea, potassium phosphate, etc.), which have very long shelf lives

so it lasts at least two years once opened since it's a stable, mineral-based formula with no organic ingredients to break down or start to smell - it will have the same effectiveness as when you first opened it

  • I’m a gardening novice. Is this sprayed on the plant or at the soil? What’s a good tool to buy to spray or can I just use a watering can?

    • +1

      Hey,

You so you mix 4ml of fertiliser per 1L of water and pour it at the base of the plant using a watering can - that’s the easiest way

You can also spray it on the leaves (foliar feeding), but do that in the early morning or evening to avoid leaf burn.

For indoor or sensitive plants, use half strength. No fancy tools needed - a basic spray bottle or watering can works great

Let me know if you have any further questions

      • Thanks. Can’t see this on the website, how many litres of the prepared mix per sqm of garden/lawn?

        • +1

Its in the description of the product
          https://completegrow.com.au/product/npk-20-20-20-plant-ferti…

For lawns or garden beds, use about 1 litre of mixed fertiliser per square metre (1L/m²)

Just mix, then apply that evenly over each m²

So for a 10m² area, you’d mix 40ml fertiliser into 10L of water

Make sure to water it in afterwards for best results

  • Hey @CompleteGrow,
I have over 100 indoor plants (mostly aroids). I am looking for an alternative to Growth Technologies FF.

Is there any benefit going for 'All Purpose' compared to 'Indoor'? Seems like you get a lot more out of this! Also the NPK count for GT FF and other Aroid fertilizers tent to be really low… are you sure these would be safe?

    Thank you :)

    • Hey,
      thanks for the question

All Purpose (20-20-20) is a balanced, versatile fertiliser. It works across veggies, flowers, and indoor plants.

It’s stronger, so we recommend diluting to half for aroids or sensitive plants. You get more value per ml.

      While our
Indoor Formula (16-4-14) is specifically designed for houseplants. Lower phosphorus keeps roots happy, and it’s gentler by default - perfect if you dont want to adjust ratios.
      https://completegrow.com.au/product/indoor-plant-fertsiler/

The All Purpose is more cost-effective as has stronger ratio, but we do recommend using at half strength for aroids

      Thank you
Let me know if you have any more questions

      • and yes we can assure this will be totally safe for your aroids, at half strength for our all purpose npk 20-20-20

        • Thank you :) I ended up buying! Happy to give this a try!
With Aroids, what rate of the CalMag do you recommend? Looking at buying that next :)

          • @axtx: Thanks for the support!

Cal-mag is a great companion to our npk, it helps prevent common issues like tip burn, yellow leaves and supports lush growth.

For your aroids, i recommend starting our Cal-Mag at 0.25–0.5ml per litre. Since it's double-strength and you're already using fertiliser, a lower dose is safer for indoor plants, especially those like aroids that prefer a gentler feed.
but if you do notice signs of deficiency like pale leaves, stunted growth, or browning tips you can bump it up closer to 1ml/L

Looking forward to hearing how it goes!
or if you have any questions let me know :)
