DeWALT TSTAK Toolbox 3 in 1 DEWALT x MCLAREN Ltd Edition $134.10 + $90 Delivery ($0 C&C / in-Store) @ Tool Kit Depot

300

This limited edition DeWALT tstak storage kit was very popular a few months ago at $149 and now it's on sale again for even less. It looks like the deal ends at midnight tonight.

You're best bet is ordering it for Click and Collect if you have a store nearby (sadly I don't), otherwise you can pay $90 for delivery. Alternatively Total Tools have it for $149. Sydney Tools and Bunnings no longer have stock.

According to revheadgl in the last deal this is different to the standard version in that it offers: an organiser box instead of a plain small box, McLaren branding and a tinted organiser lid.

FEATURES:

  • TSTAK Organiser with 10 cups and smoked organizer lid
  • Papaya side stacking latches and Black coated front latches
  • IP54 Water seals keeps contents dry
  • 7” 178mm Durable wheels for all jobsite terrain
  • Load capacity; 50kg Mobile Storage Box/Stacked; 30kg Deep Box and 20kg Organiser

INCLUDED:

  • 1x DWST83347-1
  • 1x DWST83346-1
  • 1x DWST82968-1

Bargain for what you get and stacks with all the other T-Stak products ofc. Branding/colour scheme is a nice plus.

    • +1

Especially when the going price for the normal seems to be $199 now. For 36 bucks from Bunnings there's a TSTAK to Toughsystem adapter too.

  • $90 delivery for empty boxes? This is something

    • +1

The actual deal here is on click and collect. Per OzBargain rules you must add every pickup/delivery option to the title even if that itself is not a good price 🥲

I guess the fact that they're large boxes with a bit of weight and not cardboard flatpack.

    • +2

      empty boxes

Not defending it or whatever but actually freight is pretty expensive these days … and it’s not like you can compress these to otherwise save space.

    • Sydney Tools delivered mine for free…

  • What's a typical use case for these? Are they designed for tradies to take to a job? Storing tools in a shed?

Is this for me if I'm after permanent storage for my power tools but also something portable to take on the road for jobs away from home?

    • +2

Yes to all of the above.

    • +1

I’m not a tradie. I have this and it sits in the shed usually. Don’t wheel it out much but would be easy to do. It’s super mobile. I find it great for just general storage.

    • +3

      Lego, obviously

    • Tool storage that can also easily wheel out to wherever you're working.

It's handy for DIY use. I wheel it around more than I thought I would.

    • After going with Tstak,I sold it and decided to go with modular drawers. Check out the Redline range from TKD. Cheaper than the big name brands (DeWALT Tough System, Milwaukee Packout, Toughbuilt StackTech) but very good quality and great for home use.

Yes it is more expensive but it is bigger than the Tstak and is great for my tool addiction thanks to OzB.

  • I got one of these for $149 and it's great. The top organiser is so much better than the regular Tstak toolbox. It's a bargain at this price.

  • Can also vouch for these. Great set at great price.
Slightly better quality than the normal tstak equivalent too.

  • yeah bought that in the other deal.

    would recommend

its solid and hold my tools. just your ave Joe but does a good job

  • total tools

Looks like only noosaville has stock left for brisbane

And Speaking of modular toolboxes , what happened to the ozito option? Felt like it was only out for less than 12 months and now you can’t even see any reference to it online other than old instagram posts.

    • +1

They were gone as quickly as they came. Hopefully they bring them back as the Einhell range is much bigger.

What do you use? Are you Packout?

      • I actually use 4 of these tactix hard cases for work -I only ever use 2 at a time for work , so it’s possible to just carry them around - the fact they were $69 made me say ‘nice’ the most - as otherwise they are just ‘ok’

Otherwise I also use these at home.

        • +1

Yep I was trying to huntdown the ozito modular boxes as well! Wonder why they got pulled too.
