    How are people using theirs? I bought 4 and picked up an 8 port PoE switch, but I haven't bothered setting anything up yet. Probably get to it in a few months.

    What are people's experience with these vs dedicated systems from dahua or hikvision etc?

      They aren't poe cameras.

      I have 7 tapo cameras of various models hooked up to an NVR and with microSD cards in each. They are great.

      These ptz ones work well outdoors too as long as they are under cover.

        By under cover do you mean under the eave of the roof?

        How does one get power to the camera unit?
        do they come with an individual length of power cord that plugs into the unit?

          Yep under eaves. Comes with a 9v DC adaptor from memory.
          I have run it off a 5v one before but it started to glitch when the night vision came on sometimes.
          You in theory power it from 5v USB.

        Ah I was under the impression for some reason I could use both WiFi or Ethernet.

        Why do you have micro sd cards in each of they are hooked up to an NVR? Also wasn't sure what you meant by PTZ. Is there any issues with bandwidth and having 9 cameras transferring data via WiFi?

      I received mine today (ordered a while back on the previous, slightly more expensive, deal), I guess that's why they've put another deal on now.

      At ~$30 each, I'm pretty impressed, image quality is good, good range of features, movement tracking works well, push alerts come through, built-in speaker it's very loud though. I'll be using mine to keep an eye on things when I'm out, good for peace of mind I think.

      Can't talk on the other brands you've mentioned sorry.

      edit Yeah, C211 is wifi only 100%, I'm holding one in my hand right now.

          Yeah, it did, seller was Amazon AU as per this deal also.

          In the box, camera, DC power plug (AU wall plug to DC (camera)), wall mount bracket, screws, setup guide etc.

    Still waiting for my order from the deal a month ago to ship. The expected delivery date for that one keeps shifting back. Originally mid-May, now 11 June - 2 July. I had a promo credit though so only paid $30ea.
