I remember someone saying the difference is just the colours. Yeah, I would have assumed the same, but I guess not.
Looking at their specs on the TP-Link website the only difference I can spot is the night vision.
C200: up to 30 ft / 9 m
C201: up to 40 ft / 12 m
Maybe because it's black colour itself- so it sees better at night.

If expanding to lots of cameras you may want to consider the 222 model as it has an ethernet port. I paid roughly $45 per camera for 3 after discounts. Bit more expensive but will help if your Wifi congested.

For those using as a baby monitor, when baby cries do you hear crying instantly or do you need to open an app
You'll receive a notification if your phone is locked.
You can leave it open and watch it like a monitor.
Notification advises baby is crying. You can also adjust the level of what/when you want a notification. It's surprisingly very good. Best baby monitor we've had and cheapest.
You can also use VLC to open the stream, set it to audio only and you can turm the screen off with background playback. Basically an audio monitor.
You can customise notifications. I use person detection when no one is home and also for talking to kids when I am away.

How secure could these be? I'm not keen on putting these inside my house. Anyone have any concerns?
I have a couple of TP-Link cameras but wouldn't put them inside unless they were just running on the LAN with no connection to their cloud. But thats just being overly cautious they are probably fine

Deal over. Seller has placed a limit of 1 item per customer thus unable to discount stack.
No mention of the fact that these require a cloud service (which will one day disappear) and stream to the cloud such that you have to block with a firewall and configure local streams if you don't want that? Someone also complained that continous recording doesn't work. I am constantly amazed at the privacy and security compromises people will make for convenience.

I don't know what the difference in specs is, but 201 is 1 bigger than 200 so it must be at least 1 better right?
