If you cancelled your Prime membership recently, they sent out an email to everyone offering them a prorata refund of their membership or a free year based on the time they implemented the additional fee for advert free Prime Video and when your sub was previously renewed.
RRP so not a deal but for those with a Macquarie bank account, you can get 3% off Amazon gift vouchers that brings it down to $675 and $743.

Spam like this is clogging up this site. It’s bad enough with the increasing number of marketing posts. I’m sure any person after a Switch 2 would already be aware of the RRP. The central appeal of this website is for bargains, not for RRP or sales but genuine bargains. This is not a deal as the price is the retail price.

Agreed, the last time console RRP posts were at least somewhat useful/relevant to OzB was back when the PS5 came out and was almost impossible to get at RRP due to the insane demand/scalping going on at the time.
Whereas the Switch 2 is almost the complete opposite scenario and will be readily available at the majority of stores so this deal is effectively just spam.

Where is the bargain?
Normally I understand the appeal of Amazon shopping, with their no nonsense returns and free delivery with Prime.
But this is RRP, and you get it late… What's the point of pre-ordering, if you're getting it a day or more later than everyone else, for the same price?
Glad I got this from Harvey Norman with a 10% Gift Card during this deal. Should get it launch day as long as they have stock. Fingers crossed!
I suppose the point of this post is to let users know if they stocked up on amazon credit then this is the best way to do it
Re: getting it late - I've not really be following switch 2 that much, but we went to pick up the ps5 pro the other day from the $100 off ebgames ebay deal, and they mentioned the switch 2 pre-order was already sold out as it came up in converation.. so I guess this would be a good chance at getting it around launch, if not the day of?

I understand the hate over this post due to RRP but there's a benefit to this… it's another store you know you can order from now.
I welcome all post for new products, sure, I would prefer deals with some saving but i use ozbargain as portal for stuff on sale and new product catalogue.

Sure it's not a deal / Sure it's not savings or whatever but I'm more than happy to know which stores got this and that. The more the better honestly. It gives me more choice including other people.
I was actually waiting for a post related to Amazon even tho I already got my switch 2 preordered from Officeworks but if the date was different with Amazon I would have cancelled my preorder with officeworks… that's also another benefit to these posts. where to buy x sites can be found from just a nice google. ozbargain has done a great job of keeping the majority of posts about bargains over the years and prefer we keep it that way. ive looked at bargain hunting sites in other countries and they are absolute rubbish of just people posting online catalogues. and ozb should not go down that path. vooks have been good with consolidating switch news.
