          Win 7 is getting tough now, with the 31st approaching fast. I think there are some toshiba options still out there. But I can't promise we will have anything in that spec in the near future. The reality is that a lot of our sell through has shifted to win 8 machines over the last 6 weeks, and it is heavily skewed towards ultrabooks. Basically that means our buying power in the laptop market is not as strong right now.

      I think in one of the earlier deals a few people reported 5MB/s USB 2 speeds, but one guy was getting almost 10MB/s I think, totally off the top of my head trying to remember a thread from 3 months ago though so…

        According to the website, 45MB/s read and 20MB/s write MAX on usb 3.0
        So if you're talking about write speeds, I suppose that's pretty accurate.

          Yeah write speeds. Again ballpark, but iirc you have no chance of getting over 10MB/s so the one guy who got that was pretty surprised.
