  • Should I stick with ozito or will this be materially better on surfaces like brick?

    • +1

I would just stick to ozito. Bosch greens are piss weak bordering toy like. Considering Bosch blue kits aren’t even that much more, the 100x better user experience is worth it.

    • No good for brick but either would a similar Ozito

  • I don't think this is suitable for bricks, you probably need a hammer drill for that.
If you check the Amazon Q&A there's info about it:
"Q: Can i use this to drill on Search term:brick?
A: Hello and thank you for your question.
No, the Bosch UniversalDrill 18 can only be used for drilling on wood and steel.
It would be best to get the Bosch UniversalImpact18 (B08VVWQY94) if you are looking to drill on Search term:bricks since that model has an impact function.
Hope this helps! Good luck with your next project."

    Bosch Green is literal e-waste.

    • I like them, worked pretty well…

    • I've had one of these for 7 years, still works great for basic drilling/screwing tasks.
