[Used] WD Ultrastar 14TB SATA HC530 Enterprise Hard Drive $237 Delivered @ East Digital

82

Not quite as fast as the HC550 but still with 1 year warranty from East Digital this seller has been on here multiple times before I think this is a record low for this size of drive $16.93 per TB.

Speed Difference.
HC530 up to 255MB/s
HC550 up to 262MB/s

Get those Jellyfish Servers Running I personally found this guide awesome for setting one up

Probably should point out that they have been previously used. "Used, Super Clean Server Pulls Grade-A Cosmetically Perfec Near New 100% health, G-list Zero".

  • I know the below is very different to this deal but… This deal seems to be alive again and slightly cheaper…

  • The 2 drive I ordered in April have been lost as soon as they landed in Australia, which has been confirmed by Australia Post almost 2 weeks ago and I am still waiting for a resolution… I have ordered from them before and have been very happy and was planning on ordering more, so hopefully this get resolved. Any one else had that experience before?

    • That's unlucky have only heard positive things about their shipping. Personally, my last order came from Sydney (I think?) and took only 2 days to arrive to metro brisbane.

      • The order I did last year was super well packaged too and came much quicker (eBay order) not sure where from, but this one was directly from their website and from Hong Kong. Might be worth checking as local shipping would definitely be preferred… hopefully it can get sorted out soon, I need to urgently backup a failing hard drive (not from them and much older… not essential data but still lots of hours sorting the content)…

Just FYI; the ombudsman will force AusPost to refund you what they lost if they didn't already. I once had a package "lost", AusPost admitted it was lost and they wouldn't budge at all on a refund as they kept telling me "ask the seller for a refund" but the seller was American and had basically said "lol no not our fault".

    • Going to be a mistake by East Digital if they start using Auspost instead of Fedex and think things will keep going well…

  • It’s been essentially the same price forever, can we just stop posting this already.

    • Where prove it this is the cheapest they have been

  • These are "used" drives.

You should put that in the title/description.
