This is a great deal. Though must be a hint at airpods pro 3 coming next week. I personally don't think the upgrades will be worth the extra $200 so i'd get these if i didn't already have some (albeit with the stupid lightning port that apple won't swap over :/). But, that being said if airpods pro 3 have very substantial new features like ALLM support, simultaneous dual device bluetooth connection etc just go with that.
I doubt it would be at WWDC. New AirPods would be announced alongside the next iPhones in September.
And even if an AirPods Pro 3 is announced then, they will be well north of $300, not $199.

Great deal! I got these recently - was somewhat disappointed with their A/C performance compared with cheaper Chinese models. The other bose over the ear I use for flying is worlds apart. Otherwise the sound is good and transparently mode is very smart how it handles voice detection and conversations.

Yeah, of course but even honestly my $40 TOZO has better ANC. I’ve even moved to memory foam air tips for the AP2 to help improve.
They integrate well, sound good. Their ANC is is just not what you expect for $300+ RRP.
There’s lots of threads online that Apple have reduced the ANC capability. Some say due to patents. No idea, but I noticed a degradation too.

Beware of fakes! I was scammed after buying an AirPod pro for $59 on Gumtree and registering it through Apple. When I later visited an Apple Store for a technical issue, I was told that the same serial number had been sold thousands of times. Always verify the authenticity before purchasing.
the 59$ would have been the first flag. but curious that the serial number got registered? Doesnt apple check if the sno was used before?
Understand it was too legit to accept as the apple warranty system recognised on the spot and the seller said he is leaving next day and don’t need the AirPod anymore. The biggest lesson I learned.

Ive had Airpod Pro's before and they are great as an ecosystem but fail in the department I need them for - Call Quality in a noisy enviornment - for general use like zoom, teams etc, and not just the Apple Phone call enhancements (which are very cool).
Still for $200 a good purchase. Buds Pro2 posted are like 113$ with Telstra. Excellent options for Sound Quality!

Yep, the video I linked does go over several buds. I had a pair of cmf bud pro 2 lying around and finally used them for the first time. Decent quality audio and from the review very good in noisy environments with the mic. Will be doing further testing - in any case saved me from buying new buds for mic quality alone!
