  • how many future updates can this thing get? or is it already OS locked?

    • I do not think iPad 7 will get the next major IOS update.
"A common misconception is that once a device stops receiving major software updates, it will immediately die and stop working. These are untrue.

When a device is no longer receiving major updates, it will continue to work on the latest supported OS version. Critical security patches featured in newer iOS versions might sometimes also be issued to older devices in the form of minor updates from time to time. "

    • It has the current iOs but I'm guessing it's slow as hell these days and 32gb of storage is pretty awful.

The 7th gen was released in 2019. It's got 3GB ram and an A10 CPU.

It can run iPadOS18 (2024), but probably won't run iPadOS19 (2025) which is due in September.

You generally get around 7 years of support from Apple on iPads, so maybe another 18 months or so of security updates before Apple label it "vintage".

      • thank you guys, its a no for me then since I already how slow these devices would probably get on the latest OS and 32 GB. Appreciate the responses.

And the absolute vast majority of them are from single review accounts. Try actually reading the lengthy list of single star reviews and you see a company that certainly fits the criteria of SCAM.

    • @Bruceflix While it's true that we received some 1-star reviews when we first started our business, as is common for many small businesses, we have learned from those early experiences and made significant improvements. We've been operating in this industry for over 6 years now, and we're proud of the growth and positive feedback we've received over time.

I kindly request that you review our feedback in chronological order. Focusing solely on initial negative or 1 star reviews doesn't accurately reflect our current service and it is true for any other business too.

  • I've got a 7th gen iPad that I use once in a while to watch a movie or whatever and it is paiiiiinfully slow. I don't think it's worth $199 especially since it's about to be out of software update range. Save a little more and get a couple gens newer.

  • I struggle to see how an obsolete second-hand 6yo iPad with minimal (by current standards) RAM is worth anywhere near half the price of a brand new 10th gen model with double the RAM ? Even if this could run iOS 19 you would have to delete everything off it to make enough space for the update. I paid just over $400 for my 10th Gen around BF last year (while it was still the current model). IME when an Apple device gets down to 85% battery health, it is getting pretty tired.

  • If you don't care about supporting future updated apps, wait until iOS19 comes out, should be able to negotiate a lower price from anywhere.
