What will stop me getting my cashback

  • Cashback is eligible on NBN plans only (all other products or services are ineligible), and for new Superloop customers only. A new Superloop customer is defined as someone that is no longer a Superloop customer and has no active service with them. You must remain a Superloop customer for at least 90 days after placing your NBN order to be eligible for cashback.
  • Orders must be completed wholly online, and not negotiated via phone/chat etc.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of gift cards for payment and/or purchase of gift cards.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchases made via the retailer's mobile app.

What else is essential

  • Customers are able to nominate a later connection date and receive cashback provided you remain a customer for at least 90 days after placing your NBN order.
  • Engaging with plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, VPNs, and browsers such as Brave may prevent your - order from tracking.
  • You must always return to TopCashback and click the pink cashback button through to the retailer's website for each new transaction. Ensure the TopCashback link is the last one used to visit the retailer's website prior to completing your purchase.
  • Any accounts that engage in fraudulent orders/activities to game/cheat the cashback system will be banned and cashback forfeited.

Good to know

  • Most retailers calculate cashback based on purchase amount excluding GST, other taxes, and delivery fees. Your cashback may report lower than expected due to this.
  • If an order is cancelled / returned / exchanged / modified, it will no longer be eligible for cashback and will be declined in your account.
  • To be eligible for cashback, all transactions must be completed solely & wholly online and must not be assisted/negotiated via phone/chat/email. Failure to do so will cause tracking to fail and/or have cashback declined.

signed up and has been good except just wanting a better deal elsewhere e.g tangerine - not happy with superloop 30 day cancellation policy tbh

They may waive the 30 day notice/charge. Please see the comments here.

  • If we are an existing customer how long do we need to wait before signing up to Superloop again to be eligible for Cashback?

    • I checked with the rep TA. The cashback T&Cs don't state a waiting period. Offer expires on 30th June 11:59pm AEST.

Here are my thoughts. Don't know if it will work.

Superloop NBN service cancellation requires a 30-day notice period. However Superloop may waive the 30 day notice/charge. Please see the comments here.

You could probably churn to either Telstra nbn for $1 or amaysim nbn for free (can leave anytime). Then sign up with Superloop again via TopCashback as a new customer by 30th June. You can nominate a later connection date and receive cashback.

      • @tightarse can you confirm?

  • @tightarse when does this expire?

30th June 11:59pm AEST. I checked with TA.

      T&Cs:

Customers are able to nominate a later connection date and receive cashback provided you remain a customer for at least 90 days after placing your NBN order.

    • If you haven't signed up yet, cashback has increased to $105 for Lightspeed Plan (1000/50) posted here.

      • it's tempting but may wait for superloop's black friday :)

  • When would we actually get the $90 back in our bank account? Are we talking Christmas? 3 months at Superloop and then another 3 month wait to get it approved from Topcashback?

    • Remain a Superloop customer for at least 90 days after placing your NBN order. Cashback is usually paid in around 20-22 weeks from your purchase date. Would probably be paid before Christmas around Oct or Nov. As an example, with the Black Friday Superloop Nov purchase, cashback was paid on 4th April.

  • signed up. not tracked yet.

    • tracked yet?

      • nope still not tracked. I've have got it set for a future date in 2 weeks though.

  • It’s pretty expensive after the first 6 months the cheapest plan is $72 after the initial $55

    Mine tracked instantly.

    • same. just signed up.

  • Bit of an off topic question, but does anyone know if the superloop call centre staff get a commission for signing people up by phone?
Is that why they won't pay out cash back unless the sign up is done completely online?

  • I never got my cashback on the last superloop cashback deal after the 90 days. Topcashback reckon's they are still chasing. I don't think I'm going to see it.

      • There's been no progress at all for a while, is the thing. Just "still chasing", still not tracking and no updates, no payable estimations. And I have chased on my side. Still awaiting review from superloop themselves looks like.

And I used a fresh chrome account with no extensions to make sure it all went through.

I'll keep waiting. But I am no longer helpful.

        • @lebeegees To clarify, it's a missing cashback claim. TopCashback does not add the tracking manually unlike Cashrewards and ShopBack. You won't see any tracking or updates. There is little or no communication during this waiting period. TopCashback will contact you if they need more info.

You can check on the progress of your claim or add further info in this link.

As mentioned earlier, cashback payment for Superloop for orders that tracked (not claims) can be up to around 20-22 weeks. Missing cashback claims would be similar or longer. I deleted my earlier comment as it was a reply to tracked orders (not claims).

I've had several missing cashback claims with all the cashback sites. They have all been paid but I also had to wait a long time with no response or updates. It's not unusual to wait more than 90 days for payment.

I waited 7 months for cashback to be paid from Cashrewards for a missing cashback claim. Has it been more than 7 months? If not, don't give up yet.

From TopCashback: Why is it taking so long for you to process?
