Hi all,

The recently released OnePlus Watch 3 is on a sale for a very competitive price. It is rated as the best Wear OS watch in its price category. For the best price make sure you set to USD with no conversion fees, use one of the coupons for AliExpress and cashrewards is 10% for existing members https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/907960

It also used 22mm watch straps and I recommend the quick release ones if you're going to switch them up. Just need 30 USD worth of watch straps for a better coupon code. I have one atm and happy to answer any questions.

  • Nice. This is tempting as I have a OnePlus phone. Do you also have a OnePlus phone?

    • +5

I do, I think there's only 1-2 features where you need a OnePlus phone and they're all trivial e.g. use the phone's camera (you'll try them once and never use them again.)

  • Very tempted but I had read the vibration for the watch was not very strong. I currently have a Samsung Watch 5 Pro and worried I wont get used to not feeling it as much.

This is my first smartwatch so I have nothing to compare it to but I find the vibrations are strong enough. I don't miss notifications when they come up.

  • How is the size/weight? I've read it's a bit on the big side?

    • Weight feels fine. I have a small wrist and it does seem big but the trade-off is a large screen.

  • How is battery life?

    • +1

Easily 4-5 days and I'm doing half-marathon training so it's just as good as advertised.

      • Just checked. Charged it Sunday afternoon and now has about 25% left. I've done 70mins of running and 90 mins of gym with it tracking any walking. So confident it will hit 5 days minimum.

I really wish they brough back the OnePlus brand to australia; to bad theyve lost their roots a little and now compete with the likes of samsung.

  • hmm the black model cant be shipped to Sydney, Australia? I get the "Item not deliverable to the selected address"

    Green one has no issue

  • How's the sleep tracking?
I heard bad things about vibration and notifications e.g. notification isn't on time and vibration is weaker than Google/Samsung?

  • This is definitely not a OnePlus authorised store.

  • The US$20 coupons are all saying they are expired now.

OP any idea if Google Pay works on this (ie. can you make NFC payments)?

Edit: AUD coupons seem to be working, so maybe worth paying the extra ~$5 in exchange rate to AUD to get the AUD$30 off to work.

Yes, Google Pay works. Have used it at the shops and on public transport.
