  • The bank bonus for BOM is 8% capped at $20 per purchase, not once only.

    • See the line under that.

The 27% should be per order, so I think if you have multiple eligible cards (from different banks) you can get multiple 8% bonuses.

      • In the last BWS promo like this Westpac bank bonus was higher % value but once only, while the other brands were lower % but per transaction, I’m about to put my second order through so will be able to confirm when I see what tracks

      • +1

27% cap 25 is definitely per order as I got about 40 cb over 2 orders

2nd bank bonus has not tracked despite it clearly says it’s 20 capped “per transaction” in the app

Edit/ OMFG the line underneath says only the first purchase counts. The mind boggles.

  • Is the Heineken silver bottle 100% cashback stackable with the standard + bank bonus cashback?

    • Most likely won't stack with the standard (it's one or the other), but should stack with the bonus.

    • Mine last order stacked with a regular order but came through weeks later as a separate bonus cashback.

  • +7

Also, make sure you check your Everyday Rewards app for boosters before ordering.

    I stacked with a 2000 point/$40 spend booster.

    • Yup 1800 for $80 here

    • Me too,!!!! surprised it’s so low only $40, usually it’s 1000 for $120 or something . Happy days

  • -1

What does it mean "Heineken Silver products $30"?

    • yes, it isn't very clear. I am assuming it is for a carton….i.e. $30 cashback on the carton, but not sure if this is on top of the 27% or not?? I have only ever done the free bottle deal before, but even then I had to chase them about it as it didn't come through automatically.

  • +2

Confirming 27% tracked, 8% bonus with StGeorge tracked , 25c bonus for spending $10 online tracked, 2000 bonus points earned from everyday rewards ($10), a very good result on $80 spend

  • I gather use of the BWS30 code for $30 off $200 is eligible for cashback? Last time the 30 off 200 was automatic but you need the BWS30 code now. I can only see the loosely worded 'buy 200 get 30' in one of the banners

    • Shopback brought up a large warning that any codes not authorised as part of the deal will forfeit cashback . No idea of that means your one

      • +1

This is the screenshot of my email.

That says spend 200 save 30

        • Same on my email and same on the Shopback website this morning. But I note that the banner has changed on the Shopback website and no longer has the "Spend $200, Save $30" reference. So, assuming that won't stack.

          • @audz: Banner is now displaying this image outlining the $30 off 200 and the cashback as well. I'll pull the trigger and see.

Cashback is the only reason i am still drinking 😜

  • +3

I got shafted on the last deal. Did nor track and still waiting!

    • +1

Same here! - did not track and still waiting - not happy

    • +1

I had all 18 orders track I used the app tho the website and extension are terrible

      • +3

I've always used the app, and it has usually been fine

        Not the last time though!

    • +2

      Still waiting for another

Word of warning, high cash back unlikely to get anything

      • +3

Agree. Has a $78 cashback from HP purchase under review for months. Got a few useless emails after logged a ticket. Won't use them until resolved

    • +1

Likewise. The 40% deal for Origin - no tracking (again) with Shopback. They are truly hopeless. I have lodged a query so I will wait and see - they usually have some or other excuse to blame the customer.

      • Same here, shows up in the click activity, followed the process and no tracking.

  • +4

Tired of waiting for cashbacks to track. Lodge a ticket and never hear back. Pretty crap way of doing business.

    • +2

ShopBack owes me for 2 bws orders that don’t track. About $80 in total. Won’t be using ShopBack until this is resolved.

Can someone start a coup of Ozbargain and ShopBack? Total ban of all offers no matter how tempting until they get their business back into control????

  • Mine tracked no issues when going through the app this morning, sorry to hear about the issues some others have had, hope it gets resolved for you all.

    • Via shopback app and then in app browser or bws app?

      • Via shopback app to purchase, I do the browsing via normal app or a browser but buy it through the shopback app… I did two transactions separately today both tracked.

The shopback browser is rubbish if you want to browse.

  • +4

Cashback didn't track last BWS deal. I will avoid them until they sort things out

  • Ledaig 10 for $75 at my local store, with 35% cash back = a damn good deal.

  • +1

Wont pay out on the additional Westpac bonus.

    • +1

Why not? ShopBack has payed out my Westpac bonus the last 10+ orders without any issues.

  • +1

Email says this but code is not listed in the T&Cs

  • +1

Mine tracked in full last time (Shopback + WBC bonus). Excellent timing too, as I've got these BWS offers in my Everyday Extras:

    • Spend $40 and receive 2000 points
    • Spend $60 and receive 1600 points

Has anyone ever seen a double-banger like this before? Not sure exactly how many points I'd get for spending $65 - could be 2000, 1600 or 3600?

    • +2

      It'll tell you checking out…

      • Good point, I'll have a look soon.

        • +2

          Showed 4690 points ($23.45) @ checkout, as well as $24.30 cashback tracked. So $90 - $47.75 = $42.25. Cheers OP.

          • +1

@nepalesesquirrel: Really good deal. Tracked already?

Picked up a few okay rosso plonkos on sale too. Have a second ER card showing 2000 pts for $40, I'll think about putting in another order tonight after I sample the Chataeu d' Plonko I bought today.

    • I got similar, spend $40 get 2000, and spend $80 get 1600.
Wondering if they will stack also. 🤔

      • +1

It's showing 3,600 points for $60 spend for me.

  • You can probbly expext to have to send an email and chase up shopback but i have found it always gets resolved in the end. Too good a deal not to pass up when you stack ontop of some clearence specials.

  • +1

Missing cash back for more than a week waiting for BWS, not going to happen

  • My last order wasn’t tracked either, not happy.

  • There’s a lot of neggers on this post, but my CB including bank bonus tracked in 15mins. Plus I got a scratch card for spending over $10, plus 2000 WW points.
    Ripper deal.

    • +1

Did you use code BWS30? Tracked but not yet approved.

      • Confirmed by Sept 5, you're a bit keen

      • No codes used

  • +1

    Bank Bonus T&C
    - Reward capped at $20 per purchase
    - Reward limited to the first eligible purchase tracked

    Honest to (profanity)

  • Ordered: 10:58am
    Tracked: 11.25am (including Westpac bonus)

35% cashback and another 27% back in Everyday Rewards points 👍

    • +1

Let me know when you hit $30k /flex

        • Who are you? The tax man? 😇

  • Mine tracked this time including bank bonus, last time it didn't track. I could be wrong here but I think last time my shopback app launched the BWS app but this time it just opened up a BWS tab in the shopback app.

  • can we stack with $30 off on $200 bws offer?

    • If you don't have to use a code, but only do this if you have an item >$200 itself. Otherwise it is better return to put in multiple orders at 27% rebate.

    • @gotyourback are you able to confirm

  • +1

So, can i use the 27% up to $25 on one order. Then get $30 Heineken silver for free on a 2nd order?
    Thanks

    • Did you end up getting the $30 off Heineken silver?

      • +1

it first tracks as the 27%….we have to see if that changes in a couple of weeks for the $30. I did an order with the silver as the only item in the order to test it and will get the 2000 ER points for purchase $40+. This order was with westpac and the second order with some wine is st george. Will see what happens in 2 weeks….if it doesn't come through for the $30 I will be contacting gotyourback. I took as screenshot of the cashback rates showing the $30…it also doesn't specify if it is a carton or not….just "products". I bought the carton to be safe

        • I ended up doing a seperate order with a carton as well. I guess 27% off is still ok, I quite like the beer

          • +1

@Schniz2: yeah, but don't let them get away with it if it stays as 27%….even if the $30 doesn't end up stacking with the 27% it is still much more than 27%…allow until 23rd June and if it doesn't update, contact them, contact gotyourback and contact them through shopback savers on facebook (join if you aren't already a member) until you get the correct amount. I did that with the 100% cashback on the single bottle and finally got it.

            • +1

@souths123: I'll have to start checking cashbacks. I've just found some older ones that haven't tracked properly but it's too late to appeal. Oops.

  • +2

Like many others, recent deal didn't track for either of the 2 purchases I made. Lodged missing cashback 6 days ago and still yet to even have those responded to. I have refused to use CashRewards for the same reason and will drop ShopBack in favour of TopCashback if I don't receive a positive outcome on these purchases.

    • Good luck. I have had almost perfect success with bws via shopback over the years. It always tracks full amount, not minus gst.
I follow the usual rules, making sure nothing in cart before clicking through via shopback, and never leaving page and checking out straight away. I dont use any codes or any giftcards.
I always use my phone, and not via the bws app.

      • I follow the usual rules too but I know from communication with a worker in the cashback industry, cashback system issues at the seller's end frequently cause problems with tracking. I have had several hundred cashback transactions and I am well versed in the correct procedure. However, the system is imperfect and there's no guarantee it will track even if you "do it by the book". Screenshotting significant transactions has helped overcome initial rejection of some transactions that haven't tracked - but a recent one with CashRewards was still rejected (also BWS) despite screenshots clearly showing CashRewards was activated. Of all of the missing cashbacks I've had over the years, BWS transactions would be the most likely to not track.
I've never had a problem when using the cashback company's app and I'm guessing I'd have a 95% success rate with tracking on my PC and overall, ~99% success rate in getting cashback i.e. claims for missing cashback because not tracked are usually successful

  • +2

Max rebate (27%) is reached when spending ~$92. No need to go over this when there are multiple transactions possible.

  • +1

Sure the high cashbacks are tempting but in my experience BWS always has issues. So I will be avoiding.

  • Can anyone confirm the BWS30 promo code is stackable?

  • does it it track only after pick up?

    • +1

no, should be same day, today at the latest. If it didn't track by then it won't.

  • 10 negative votes…..is it really that bad

    • Yes

    • I don't think so personally, but all my transactions track.
      Safari browser, no ad blocking.

      • … except when I use ad-blocking browser by mistake.

        • I use one browser without Adblocking ONLY for cashbacking and bypassing firewalls. After a while it becomes automatic

  • BWS / Shopback been tracking fine for me, but not getting the good everyday bonuses. Regardless, works out nicely for a case of Bentspoke Sprocket

    • Did you use the BWS30 promo code?

  • Did a second purchase.

    Ordered: 18:45
    Tracked: 19:10

Always tracks in full, every time.

    Desktop browser - Firefox

Stacked this with 2k pts for a $40 spend. Cashback tracked for westpac as well. $40 of booze for $17. Winning.

    • Same, $60 1L Whiskey for $29. All tracked

  • Ordered via SB app. No tracking yet. Guess I’m not picking up the order. Thought they had fixed tracking issues for BWS.

  • -1

Has anyone succeeded in cancelling a transaction after they have picked it up? ie return it to store after calling service desk?
I wasn't asked to sign for it, so not sure they know I have actually taken it.

    • +1

They mark it as collected on their system. You can tell this as the EDR points don’t post until collection.

    • Why would you return it, after picking it up?
      Is it faulty?

      • It didn't track and I forgot to check it before I collected it.

        • I took one purchase back that hadn't tracked and was refunded. Their return policy is not clear online. I asked the store clerk directly and they were happy to take it back into stock if they stocked it.
