Maybe they're legit, maybe they're not but their "office" address is a residential house. And their website is worse than the old MSY one.

The same guy / address was for Freenet Antennas, and my first purchase their was in 2007. I’ve picked up, or had items delivered a few times since. Very legit and been in the same line of business for many years.

Website quality is a different story all together.

Have ordered from thee guys before for work they're legit and good service

  • Anyone found the Pro XG 8 PoE for a reasonable price yet?

    • someone please talk me out of getting an XGS for my house….. i really wanna look at the real time analysis thing lol

      • Lol won't be from me

        • oh well, buy once, cry once i spose

  • Assuming their importer is Streakwave - eta was the 16th of June for the next batch. Streakwave has listed for $530, both very good prices considering what the disti prices are.

Don't forget to pick up a cheap M.2 SSD and the ssd caddy (UACC-SSD-Tray), these do not come with a caddy or storage if you plan on using unifi's protect cameras.

    • Assuming their importer is Streakwave - eta was the 16th of June for the next batch

Streakwave haven't had any at all in yet, so the other (non grey market) sellers that have had stock are likely getting them directly as part of their own agreements with UI.

Also, I wouldn't trust Streakwave's ETAs. They've been kicking the can down the road on my pre-order of one for 3 months now.

  • Pardon my ignorance, but isn’t all nbn equipment maxed out at 1gbps, and unable to use own NTD, therefore we would be unable to use 90% of the throughput of this FcGW?

Most of my internal network is 2.5gbit now, I’ll eventually move to 10g, but the limiting factor in my eyes is the nbn fiber?

nbn FTTP is maxed out at 1000/400. 2000/200 and 2000/500 FTTP is coming in a few months.

The Ubiquiti UCG-Fiber doesn't replace the nbn fibre NTD. The UCG-Fiber is your router and switch.
