@191919: I did although I'm suffering for it today. I'll probably stay until Webster has finished his first spell (if he's even needed)

    • They did their time… many other players received less punishment.

On a different note, is Labuschagne opening and Green batting 3?
I prefer Smith to bat at 3 and Green bat at 4.

      • +1

Sounds like Labuschagne, Khawaja, Green, Smith, Head, Webster, Carey, Cummins, Starc, Lyon, Hazelwood?
Labuschagne getting desperate, would have to shoot the lights out to go into the Ashes in the summer as the opening bat? Get a kid in there and start the handover, Khawaja's last summer coming up you'd think and has hamstrings like glass

Mitchell Marsh played well in the IPL, maybe he can bat 3 and Green open?

          • +1

@congo: Marsh averaged less than 20 last year. He's cooked.

      • +3

they did far more than their time, their time and standard punishment was 1 match ban.

    • It seemed insightful when Kohli (as a well known advocate for Australian cricket) was sledging the South Africans with "lucky the TV cameras only tracked the Aussies". It could have just been banter, but it seems a funny thing to say if there's no truth to it.

Don't know how I feel about more and more sports making the jump to different streamers, was simple enough when you only had FTA and Foxtel but now it's all over the shop.

Anyway, yes, get the sandpaper ready (South Africa), I assume this is like saying "get the lube ready", as in, we're gonna (profanity) you up tomorrow!

Generally I agree but this is on Prime Video. I've never met someone that doesn't have Prime in real life.

      • +12

Widen your circles mate lmao most people I am familiar with don’t have prime.

      • I'm literally the only person I know with it. Unless you count old mate Callam, who I gave my Prime Video login to, but who does not use Prime in any other regard.

      • +1

        i dont have one

      • +2

How many people have you met? 3?

I'm annoyed the Anti-siphoning laws aren't strong enough to be able to prevent the streaming services from doing this

So does cricket play in the background to help you guys sleep better akin to having a fan on in the background?

    • Only ABC Grandstand coverage.

      • +6

Just something romatic about Test cricket on the radio, and in particular BBC TMS at Lords. Henry Blowfield talking about the cranes on the horizon, and then a brief pause for the shipping report.

    • a fan is usually in the background of cricket matches and discussion…what are you doing here?

    • Yes 😅 Love having a test match on in the background to help me chill

    • what time does the sportzball start guys? i have my anime and farmer wants a wife convention

      • Hey! Anime Is a timeless artform, the conventions are human beings expressing their interests through hard work and passion and farmer wants a wife allows you to experience the blossoming roller coaster that is true love on your screen for Australias most important profession. Our amazing farmers. Thank you farmers for my delicious mandarins, lettuce and high quality world renowned aussie beef. We are truly blessed aren't we?

  • So is the ICC streaming from Amazon now or is it just this game?
