Good Guys and JB Hi-Fi have it $6 cheaper, but it doesn't look like they have any stock in VIC.

Cons:
- No reverse tumbling
- Long cycle time of 5hrs 22min, even relative to other heat pumps
- Low CHOICE score of 67% (i.e. not recommended)

Pros:
- It's Bosch

According to choice this one is rated 84% and is $782. This Bosch lost most of its points for the drying time as op stated.

    • How would you compare Westinghouse vs Bosch reliability?

    • Bought this with a matching washing machine.
Love the washing machine. Disappointed with the dryer.
It takes a long time, only rotates one way which is more of a problem than we thought.
And most of the settings except towels don’t dry all that well without a lot of repeats, or shoving something bigger and wet in there with a smallload. I think it’s sensor is crap.

We don’t actually use a dryer all that much, preferring to hang clothes out, so maybe an old condenser dryer might have been better for our use case.

      • Hi, do you have a link for the matching washing machine?
        Thanks

That drying time is sexually ridiculous!?

Definitely.. who can last over 5 hours

  • It's a heat pump dryer so a long drying time prioritises power efficiency and fabric care.

  • bought this 2 weeks ago and have used it fair few times. we load at least 6-7kg of clothes and use ECO cycle which shows 3:47 mins to dry but always finishes around 2hr mark and clothes are dry including towels. its not super hot like vented dryer, but dry and warm enough if you take it out straight away.

  • Choice is over exaggerating the drying time or they're doing something wrong with the machine. I've got one and the longest it's taken me to dry a full load is 4 hours which is standard for heat pump dryers.

4 hours was with bedsheets and it takes a bit of untangling usually at the 1:30 mark but that's pretty standard for most dryers. A load of standard washing is closer to 3 hours for me. If you leave it on the cupboard extra dry mode which is all I ever do the sensor is accurate.
