Depending on delivery could contend for ATL.
Great controller.

Don't need to publically shame him dawg. He's providing content for your website. It's not like old mate stands to benefit from Mwave selling controllers.
Remember no switch compatibility for this one!
People complain about Sony headphones naming but 8bitdo has the most confusing naming.
Doh (8bit)
Do you mean switch 1 or switch 2. Should work just fine with the switch 2
You need the Bluetooth version. It’s stupid. This is the wireless version
The switch 2 does not use bluetooth for 8bitdo controllers. I bought one the other day and it instead uses the wireless 2.4ghz (my bitdo controller has both bluetooth and 2.4ghz)
It has you plug the dongle into the dock
EDIT: If there is a way to connect via bluetooth on the switch 2 then i couldnt get it to work even with the latest firmware. Only could get it to work with the dongle
@not ai: The 8bitdo controllers that only use Bluetooth have all been updated to work on Switch 2. I have been using an 8bitdo Pro 2 on my switch 2 just fine. My 8bitdo Ultimate 2C (2.4ghz + by model) does not currently work, even with the 2.4ghz adapter that was included with that controller.
I’m hoping it’s just a matter of time before they update the 2.4hgz controllers.
@MunkyAU: It seems it's already possible via their beta software.
See here: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/16608352/redir
@not ai: I had to install beta firmware to get my SN30 Pro (which uses Bluetooth) to work with my Switch 2.
@rv3392: I couldn't get this to work on the weekend with beta firmware. What instructions did you use?
@xavierod: I used the firmware updater: https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoSwitch/comments/1l6167w/8bi…
It didn't auto-detect my controller so I think I picked the SF30 from the list. The version log had both the SF30 and SN30 listed in the same download.
This is actually compatible with Switch, just not directly via bluetooth and don't have the correct button pattern, see FAQ:
https://support.8bitdo.com/faq/ultimate-2-4g-controller.html
This is instead the FAQ for the Bluetooth version, specific for switch:
https://support.8bitdo.com/faq/ultimate-bluetooth-controller…
Just FYI I have an Ultimate V1 with Bluetooth which had a patch release June 6 to support Switch 2 no problems. Other models have custom firmwares listed here (found from a reddit thread, haven’t tested myself): https://tempfiles.8bitdo.com/NS2/
Damn gaming controllers and compatibility. I'd consider getting a good pro controller if I knew the darn thing would work with switch 2 and an Xbox and I could jump between the platforms on one solid controller.
Just grab a Mayflash Magic NS or S. Then you can use whatever controller you like on the Switch, inc PS4 and Xbox. Havent got a PS5 controller to test.
I can't keep track of which "Ultimate" controller is the good one…
I think this is the Ultimate 1 version?
There is also an Ultimate 1 with Bluetooth I believe, which is what I have.
So this post is for the pen-ultimate.
Saw that yesterday, was about to post, and realized it's not the ATL, give up. But very close though.
I believe this is the ATL for the 2.4G with Hall Effect.
Do yourself a favour and get the version with Hall effect triggers, ive had 3 of these controller fail in around 6 months use (common issue Google it if you dont believe me) all the exact same way, the rubber in the triggers gets worn out and slowly get worse till they wont fully activate even when fully pushed in.

This is actually the better version of what i have haha it has Hall triggers and TMR joysticks.
Does this one have Bluetooth? I believe I have the Ultimate (v1?) with Bluetooth which also has hall effect but frankly I’m totally lost by their naming conventions.
It does, but not the correct support for switch. You would need the ultimate USB wireless adapter v2 (this) to get it to work, or just buy the Bluetooth version which has switch compatibility out of the box. Note: This does have bluetooth support, but the "bluetooth" models come with switch support. Easiest way to make the distinction between models.
Edit: upon more research, Switch mode is now available in 1.05 Beta4 software in which you can use the 2.4ghz dongle directly in the switch 2, eliminating the need for the usb wireless adapter v2!. Wish I knew this yesterday. See here and the comments

This one here has bluetooth, it's $10 more however.
my triggers have started giving out badly on 2 controllers after 1yr, get the one linked by axelstrife with tmr triggers or get another brand imo
Great controller. I managed to get my from Aliexpress for $42 at launch, and it delivered pretty quickly, no issues.
Perfect controller if it wasnt for the trigger issues, so glad they updated them. $100 with charging dock is unbeatable only wish i could use them on PS5 too haha.
Does this work for PS4 and Android?
Which ones are best for raspberry pi?
If you're after something a bit more compact, the SN30 pro they have on special is also a steal at $35.
Does this work for PS5?
Bought 8 to meet the minimum requirements of my 64bit system.
do these work for pc xbox series ps4 ps5 wiiu ninswitch 1 n 2 ?
everything ? xd
Great deal thanks OP . I missed it unfortunately
