Yep finally got my 30% off. I was approved 4 days ago on Sunday. Never received an email, but the 30% off is there in checkout today.

    • Same, signed up earlier in the week, no email, but the $100 off appeared in checkout today.

  • Looks like the promotion has ended…
I saw the discount in my card yesterday (didn't go ahead with purchase). Today I went to finalise the order but there was no more discount!
Amazon Business front page still shows the promotion…

Edit: just saw more comments similar to this above; will try to contact them.

    • Mine also isn't working. But chat is bugged and I can't contact them. I'll try again later. Must be a bug. It specifically says 30/6 was the ending date. Let me know if you get a hold of them.

      • Chat and call don't work. Tried their normal chat, the guy didn't know anything about this…

        • +1

Thanks for the update. Ok i'll try the coupon and chat again tomorrow, maybe there's just some site bug. I'll let you know if I get any updates or if anything changes.

  • Got the email but nothing appears.

    • It's broken at the moment. They reckon they are working on it, said to give it 48 hours. Some people have had luck getting the discount as a gift card applied to their account (not me unfortunately)

  • Working now. Doesn’t work on used items.

    • Still not working for me unfortunately. I did find the promo notification in my Amazon messages but if I click on the message to Use Discount it shows an error to use a business account.

It was definitely working a day or so ago. I will keep waiting, hopefully it resolves itself.

  • -1

I had the window open to sign up for the last few days, but didn't get around to trying to finalise it until today.
Been having errors trying to complete the business a/c sign up.
    Will try again tomorrow night.

    • I see the link above now advertises Prime Day is coming.
  • I provided the required infromation including the screenshot from Australian Government website confirming ABN.
However, I recieved the following email from Amazon:

    Hello,

We are unable to process your registration and extend an Amazon Business account to you. This is because we are not able to verify the information provided in your business account registration.

If you would like to appeal this decision, reply to this email to reach an account specialist. Our Customer Service team can only confirm that we sent this message and help you with technical issues. They cannot reverse this decision or provide you with more details on this matter.

Thanks for this! Account was approved this morning after I uploaded a document and I was able to buy a bunch of PC parts for a new build at a massive discount.

  • -1

Worked like a charm. I was on the page where it asks to upload documents when I noticed that I had already received the welcome email, so I just skipped the upload step.

Thanks for this deal! I had my eye on the Breville Bambino for a few days now but couldn't justify spending $397 on it. Got it for $265.71 with this deal :) Note that the promotional credit of $100 did not automatically apply. I had to go into Payment method and tick the box to get it applied.

  • -1

    Still available or it's gone?

  • Been approved but no promotion credit option yet, how long until it showed up for everyone?

    • Don't know why anyone would neg you, but I'm in the same boat - finally approved, but can't see the promo credit. Gonna test different items in the cart.

    • Probaby because of this? "Offer will be applied in up to two business days." it's in t&c. I did signed up 33 hours ago and still do not see any 30% discount to items I'm after.

      • Thanks. I used a separate email address (means I have a separate login), and it did not give me business prime (already prime on personal).
I wonder if I need to sign up for Business Prime Duo?
I've resisted linking them for now in case of any advantage keeping them separate.

        • Hopefully I'm not mistaken: Business Prime Duo is one that's 'free' if you have Prime membership in your personal account and restricted to 1 user. Thus to have this Business Prime Duo you will need to use the same email address you use in personal account.

To have more users there is higher tier, more expensive membership is available. Interestingly the 'Essential' membership is only $79 (Gemini suggested $179) - for 5 users - not sure if it's a promo pricing, pretty much the same price as one personal prime - some may find this as a loophole to have share prime accounts.

It's too early to say anything - as I haven't even made any purchases yet, but for one thing I see, gift card account is separate between personal and business.

          • @foxmulder: I got the email inviting me to 30% off my first purchase.
            So Duo not required
Definitely disappointed I could not use my gift card account balance from my personal account.
My Ozbargain disease means I must now spend time trying to maximise my discount :)

            • @Zippy7: I just signed up f or a Amazon Business and it was verified today. Do i need to want for them to invite me to this offer now (30% off my first purchase)?

And do I need to have a prime memebership too?

  • is it 1 abn for 1 $100 discount? can I use the same ABN for different account and both get the 30% off?

  • Placed a backorder for something and got the full 30% off ($175.17 for a discount of $52.55) but now anything else I'm viewing is offering a discount of $47.45 no matter what the item and price is, promotion leads here: https://www.amazon.com.au/b?node=206642289051.

Probably something to do with the fact the ordered item is on backorder but colour me confused!

    • Similar happened to me when I ordered back when the deal was posted. Two orders, total $100 discount between them

      • +1

This definitely makes sense! So they're offering 30% off until you reach the cap of $100 going by that and my figures above.

  • What's with Them saying you should use a different account from your personal account so they don't delete your prime and then when you use a different email to sign up to a different account it says

The phone number you've entered already exists with another account.

  • On cancelling business prime:

The links in Amazon website were not as described in Amazon customer service videos.

The only way I could work out how to cancel business prime is to sign in on the app and search cancel prime for a direct link

Still couldn't find the link manually on the app, think it might be an issue with the trial not actually showing that you have signed up (no cancel membership appears).

    Anyone else have issues?

  • Anyone know if you have to make the first purchase before end of this month for the 30% to be taken off?

    • +2

From their email titled Redeem 30% off your first purchase on Amazon Business and save up to $100

Thank you for joining Amazon Business. Your account creation has enabled you to receive 30% off your first purchase on Amazon Business up to $100 savings, which we have allocated to your account. This credit will be automatically applied to your next eligible order. This is a limited time offer to redeem before 30/06/2025.

As some suggested you can make more than one purchase to get a total of $100 discount.

Note if you haven't signed up yet, it will take 2 days for you to get the offer after sign up.

      • I just signed up f or a Amazon Business and it was verified today. Do i need to want for them to invite me to this offer now (30% off my first purchase)?

And do I need to have a prime memebership too?

        • Some suggested it may be too late now for 30© off.

If you are prime member in personal account, sign up is free for prime duo membership.

  • +1

Seems this promotion has ended. Amazon Business chat said you had to be signed up by 24/6. Shame.

    • Dang. I just got approved. What a bummer.

      • When did you sign up?

        • I can confirm JUST after. Chat confirmed 24th 00:00 was the cut off, so really 23rd.

          • @Castcore: I just got onto chat only registered yesterday. They asked if i could still see the banner i told them yes and they gave me a $100 gift card

            • @Kirbieb: Oh I just did the same but they only said they'd give the gift card after I've made an order and it's been delivered, 30% of the order up to $100. Sounds like you got the better deal. But oh well, can use towards future orders.

    • Far out, I just got an email with the 30% EOFY offer - after I had made my purchase because 2x agents told me I wasn't eligible… I've contacted support to see if they can offer anything.

  • Can anyone please check for me if Dyson Ball Animal Origin Upright Vaccum Cleaner is on 30% off offer? Appreciate it. I have ABN but not signup for Amazon Business yet.

    • SamuelGT suggested promotion has ended?

      • Yes, saw it just after I posted. 24 June is the latest signup date. Still like to know if it is on the 30% list.

        • See my comments further up, should still work? Maybe?

I found a vacuum and looks as if it would work. You wont get the full $100 though as its only 394

          • @Kirbieb: Yes, I saw your comments. You are lucky. Castcore didn't get it for his current order. Not sure if it is worth trying. If I signup today and the earliest I can chat them would be tomorrow. If it does work, then 30% of $394 will be $188.2, isn't it? Or you see different thing on Amazon page? It is a Dyson Upright corded vacuum cleaner and it is $394 on Amazon right now.

  • This offer seems to have expired!

  • They exclude apple, bose and all the big brands now :( rip.

    • +2

Buy something and cancel, the promotion will disappear. Then reach customer service, they will likely give you credit that can be used to buy anything.

  • Cheers Penny! 🍻🪙

  • I was too late to register and contacted them, they said I can buy something and contact them again and they'll try to give me something after its delivered, but it's not gonna be 30%. So I'll pass.

    • Yeah they offered me 20 bucks but not 30pct off

  • +1

Can you use multiple times until $100 max?

    • -1

      Yes

      • Thank you

      • Good to know. Thx

      • On double checking, it looks like it can only be used on the first purchase

    • I'm trying to place an order now, having bought something recently for $40 discount… I'm not getting any discount applied at all :(

      • +1

I believe it needs to be from australian seller

        • I'll try again, but I tried several items, mostly hardware and groceries and nada. I also tried adding the previous item I had bought successfully with the discount and nada on it as well.

    • Didn't know that.

  • +1

Crap, I was keeping this up my sleeve to buy a Bambulab printer tonight, I went to sign up and didn't realize it had already expired.

    • Check bambulab resellers. Bought A1 Combo for $650 from 3dcentral in Brisbane. https://bambulab.com/en-au/dealer

      • I was looking to get the mini for $250. Have a K1 at work so don't need the bigger build plate, just wanted it at home for smaller bits and pieces.

        • Still works for the mini. Just checked.

          • @aarick: Are they still offering it on sign up though? I signed up last night

    • I went to sign up and didn't realize it had already expired.

Why you didn't sign up on day one? After signed up you can buy later.

  • Not expired. Just doesn't work for certain brands like Bose, apple etc anymore

    • Want to know is it necessary to buy all in one transaction?

      • you can buy in multiple orders as long as your initial promotion credit is showing

  • What happen if you return item, do you get your credit back?

  • +1

I didnt action this and forgot damn.. missed out.
Chatted to agent and she said it ended 24th June and it will take a day for them to verify business account creation.
I pushed and the best outcome i could get was 'make your business account first, then contact us and we will give you best option'.
Nfi what the option will be..

Can anyone advise if the price of items in normal vs business amazon prime the same or different?

  • is anyone else getting 30% off every order that qualifies? I have ordered 5 items, all have had 30% taken off each time. or is that something different?

    • +1

Are the total discounts to those orders more than $100?

      • thank you, this makes sense now.

  • -1

    I got the Sony WH-1000XM5 for $285.

    It was originally $385, but Amazon gave me a $100 gift card {Just told them I saw the 30% off banner when I signed up (I lied) but now I don't see it}

so I paid $285 out of pocket. I’ll be claiming $250 from work as an expense, so in the end, the headphones only cost me $35 — best deal I’ve ever landed!

  • +1

Anyone get the "spend in a category to earn $10 voucher" offers and actually have the vouchers applied to their account?

I've completed 3 categories so far, got an email for each saying a $10 off $39 spend voucher has been added to my account, but nothing at checkout.

Live chat sort of understood, then after asking if I had bought from the Home Improvement category, to which I replied no, started telling me how to activate the offer, buy in that category within 10 days and get the voucher.

In the end they gave me $10 gift card credit instead, but I've still got more vouchers supposedly that arent working. Just wondering if it's just me.

    • I think this offer is kind of broken down for the past few days. You dont necessarily get the discount even after getting the emails. Used to work perfectly though.

      • Thanks. First tried to use on 28/6. Good tho to know not just me then

      • Looks like they are working again.

        • +1

Think I see now, doesn't work on anything with a "business price"

          • @bamzero: Still don't see what is the point of Amazon Business, price the same as personal, even some deals not available with Business.

            • @superforever: Probably more useful for actual businesses, as you can link employee accounts and let them purchase with company credit cards, restrict categories they can buy etc.

Some things are cheaper for business though and some have quantity breaks but yeh kinda annoying not everything is available to purchase via business account.

I'm not 100% now it was business pricing that made the $10 voucher not work. Didn't work for a Kindle either, but works say for a Logitech item with a Prime Day deal.

    • FYI the $10 credit started working after subscribing to Business Prime. Also as mentioned it doesn't work with Business pricing or Quantity pricing but does work with Prime sales.

      • +1

Yeh, I had Prime Duo as was linked to my personal account.

Guess there's just some things they deem not eligible like Kindles

    • Looks like I'm eligible for 3 of them that I received for different categories. Could someone pls send a link to an item it works on for them as a control test to see if they apply?

  • I went through checkout yesterday, a 30% discount was shown on 2 items, yet checking my order today I got charged full price on both without any discount applied.

I didn't take a screenshot, but was in a hurry to purchase the items before midnight.

Amazon support are only offering $30 Amazon credit on my combined purchase of ~$300.

  • Whats the consensus here if it is worth joining amazon business? Are the prices better in general and/or have more offers incl current prime day offers?

    • Are the prices better in general and/or have more offers incl current prime day offers?

Mostly not really at the moment.

    • I mean it's free and for a lot of items you do get $5-10+ off via Business/Quantity pricing.

    • +1

If you've got an ABN, nothing to lose really but no I wouldn't say pricing is better in general though there are some things that are a little cheaper here and there or might have quantity discounts. You also need to make sure it's linked to a personal account if you have Prime on that so it will carry over to your business account for free.

The only downside I can really think of is that not everything you can buy on a personal account is available to buy with a business account for some reason. Switching between them isn't hard, but to make things easier I generally browse using my personal account and have another portable browser already logged in and set to business so I can copy paste the item to see if its any cheaper there (and unfortunately no way to set camel price watch on business pricing)

I also like that business orders still get emails in the old format that include the tracking number (maybe more useful for me in WA where I still get a fair bit of stuff sent by Auspost)
