If you keep renewing the plan then you can bank unlimited data. I currently have 1TB banked.
The catch is that if you downgrade the plan, then my understanding is the data is wiped :-(.
If you don't care about keeping the number it's much cheaper to buy lots of these discounted packs than renewing at full price, unless there is a future period when you need to use 1TB in a month
I do care about keeping my number.
The challenge I have is that I'm on a grandfathered plan which is $20 for 25GB. When travelling I exceed that but at other times I don't go close.
To change I would need a plan cheaper than $20/month with more than 25GB /month and including data banking.
Woolworths is selling amaysim 80GB for $15 and you also get 600 ww points which makes it cheaper than this deal. (Also 50GB + 600 points for $10, but my nearby woolies have sold out and not replenished.)
Furthermore, you can use 10% discount and gift card to pay for this at ww, neither of which you can do at coles

at woolworths. Which makes it a better deal than coles if both supermarkets are selling the SIMs for the same price
How does one obtain an additional 10% discount (at woolworths)?
What's the expiry of the data once you activate? A month? 28 days? A year?
