My S21 Ultra just upgraded itself to one UI 7 yesterday.
Apart from the Battery running out very fast I've it hits 15% it's still getting strong.
Battery should last longer after a few days the system adapting to your app usage behaviour
Nah this has been happening for like a year, once it hits the last 15% it goes flat within about 30 minutes.
@Kegsta: Same with my S21 (non ultra). I got a small Anker power bank with ultra fast charging that's amazing. Just $30 on special and it holds roughly 2x battery capacity of the phone. Small enough to keep in your pocked and you can charge the power bank while charging your phone. Did a whole day conference at work with my phone that would have required a charge after 5-6hrs… A very good excuse to not have to fork out for a New S25.

It doesnt seem to work with my nsw gov email.
I sign in, I get the email saying someones signed in on my account, then it asks for my employee email, put it in again, & then I get another email saying that youre already registered, my personal email is shown, & that I cant have more than one account.
Is this a known issue? I might have to work out how to remove my work email account from my personal
I don't know if you got this sorted, but had the same issue with my partner portal email.
I had to retry like an hour later, out the work email in again and then it accepted it.
I've have to reverify my work email about once a year, and first time I've had this issue with it looping and not excepting. In the end the deals weren't as good as the edu offer so wasn't worth the effort

How do you get the Free Case ? I added the LiveGalaxy105 and it gave me the discount but it didn't add the case and when I add the croc case its listed with a price of 73.47.

Through the EPP (presume EDU is the same), they have 35% off watches and buds as well. Should be a better deal as you can just buy what you want, plus if you wanted both, 30% off the phone and 35% off the buds/watch is better than 20/40%. Was worth the comment though, so a +1 from me!

Yeah I saw that the app drawer is now scrolling vertically instead of horizontally (my biggest hate) as its always been. I'm staying on One UI 6
You can have it either way by choosing to sort your apps alphabetically or otherwise.
This can be fixed to have pages like it used to, but they can no longer be sorted by alphabetical order.
My biggest pet peeve is no longer being able to swipe down to search for apps. Swiping to get the app drawer and then searching in the bar at the bottom is the worst design i've ever seen. Don't know how designers got away with this unintuitive bs

I pulled the trigger on the s25 512gb with the extra $50 eofy voucher, 1st app purchase in the EDU portal with the LIVEGALAXY105 code. Final price $965.05!
When I tried to put through my order, I kept getting some weird payment error. I did a live chat with them and it seems I cannot stack the 5% off (LIVEGALAXY105) code with the $50 EOFY eVoucher. The live chat person said they should stack, but couldn't figure out why the didn't. If I used only one of the codes, I could check out fine. I was unable to achieve what Twelveeyes did.
Live chat person is clueless. It does stack for most of us. That weird payment error probably more Samsung buggy code. I did see it in the past, eventually got through after keep trying
Live chat person agreed that the codes should stack, but they didn't know why they didn't. Both codes are fine as they work individually. They suggested trying a different browser, internet connection, account, etc… I'll stick to the s23 for now, can't be arsed.

is the S25 a marked improvement on the S24?
As per some benchmarks, it's a 30 - 60% improvement. Have not used either so can't say if there's any remarkable real world difference between the two. The S25 does have 12GB RAM instead of 8GB RAM - in case that is important to you.
