      Penalty 19800
      Profit 500K ( made up number )
      Penalty so low

      • +4

$19,800 would be less than their advertising and marketing budget for that promotion. It would not even be the CEO's salary for the week.

  • All the best TA 😀

    • Is it his birthday?

      • +1

No idea. My comment is in reference to TA's previous post with the ghost accounts 😂

        • -5

I had to search this up, seems ppl weren't happy with jacked prices @ Mobileciti.

Is it within the guidelines to downvote for the persistent use of "Stay safe" at the end of every TA deal, it gives real stale covid Dan Andrew vibes?

          • +1

@muwu: Sorry not within the guidelines to downvote.

          • -4

@muwu: Whereas you give off anti Dan Andrew, anti vax vibes. You do realise staying safe isn't always all about covid? Stay safe

            • +2

@Protractor: @muwu Some people say "Stay safe" similar to "Take care". It has been around before covid.

  • Hmm so you could get whatever item you want and an air freshner to get 25% off?

    • +1

      Dont quote me,

But yes, this is how it worked on the first time they did this.

Could also get a live basket price beat too, but i think thats fixed.

Swap the word 'want' for 'need', or you're saving squat.

Consumption: can the world function WITHOUT it?
Also, are people aware of what's going on around them & in their mind?

        • +1

          No
          and
No, not without social media input and validation. It's a shared(communal) 'mind'.

          • @Protractor: An observer😇 & my comment is MORE-macro than 'social media'. Unless you live off-the-grid & barter, every interaction is impacted: you buy food, your house-price/superannuation-$, work, connection to the internet etc etc 🤣

    • These promo's $hit me.

Buy 2, then immediately return 1.

Supercheap are removing Best Price Credit 30 June which I previously found useful. Terrible move IMO but meh. Since that announcement I've made a point of using Price Beat Guarantee on Live Chat instead. I've found it time consuming but much better for saving, at least so far. Got a new set of wipers last week for half price by matching with an obscure small business on the other side of the country, no shipping cost added, local pickup and fitting at Supercheap 30 minutes later.

Point is you may find you can do better than 25% off doing a quick price hunt on Google and using price match instead, if Supercheap is local and convenient for you. Otherwise reward the small businesses for having good prices to begin with.

Stocked up when they did 30% off two or more Bowden’s Own last weekend. Usually worth waiting for these guys or Repco to do the higher, brand-specific discounts rather than the blanket discounts that are lower.

    • +4

      True!

Also worth noting is that Bunnings now stocks car care products so best would be to wait until sca has a sale then get Bunnings to price beat? (Or vice versa)

      • +4

I believe they only stock a handful of brands, but definitely if they’re your preferred brands, price beat. Although wouldn’t shock me if Bunnings demand their own SKUs/product sizes to avoid this (they’re known to do this)

Also, Supercheap Auto Trade is 20-30% off most products anyway (all the time but doesn't stack).

  • So I can get Karcher at 25pct off. I guess your deal. Any opinions?

  • Would bosch aerotwins be included?

    • yes, just bought a set

    • +2

      Better off price beating
      just google the model number

      • Do you price match each individual blade? I’ve seen twin packs e.g. 650mm and 450mm which seems to be cheaper than buying them individually.

        • I did the same! found cheaper Bosch wipers on Automotive superstore and got Supercheap to pricebeat!

  • Anyone have recommendations for a good emergency jumpstarter?

  • When will SCA offer a decent-promo on engine-oil, 5W-30 or thinner: $30 for 5L, https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/844631

Is there a connection with Car manufacturers' approved spec. oil (GM, Ford, VW-504, Merc. BMW etc ) & thin-oil ?

    • They had half-off Penrite literally last week. Came to $37.99/5L, and a bit less with gift cards.

  • Just went. If you use club member price on the item you want, the 25% does not apply.

  • +2

Managed to use this with a price beat. Added one item to cart and went on chat and got them to price beat it. Then went into cart which showed the updated price beat price. Changed quantity to 2 units, and the extra 25% came off

I am unsure whether you could just add any other random item to your cart for the 25% to kick in. I didn't test it

  • Unsure if this happens to anyone but the cashrewards with Supercheap auto have been terrible. When you purchase an item for over $200, they did a cash rewards on a $51 instead of the full amount. It happened again on a $41 product for only $9. Had to ask Cashrewards twice to fix this.
Doublecheck if you are using Cashrewards
