Might help others - I just got the Bose QuietComfort (non-Ultra) for this same price. Reviews suggest it's more comfortable than both this Sony and QC Ultra (ear cup depth and physical button controls). Plus I'm coming from the OG Bose QC35 which lasted me a whole 9 years.

Im happy to trade my bose qc with this, only because sony has auto pause sensor. And bose clamp is so weak

      • What is bose clamp btw

      • +1

I had a pair of these and got rid of them because that sensor kept turning my headphones off while I was using them. The touch controls also almost never worked. Seemed to be a lot of other users with the same issues.

        Sticking with my wired bose

        • +1

I have both features disabled through the Sony headphones app. Don't need an account and it saves to the headphones' memory. But if you really need side controls Sony isn't the way to go.

    • I just got some Bose QC ultra but they were too small for my head and hurt the top of my scalp. Sounded awesome and the ANC seemed great.

      • Ok maybe it suits smaller head people like me.. keen to swap with qc :;? :;

        • Luckily good guys accepted the open box return. They didn't even look in the box..

    • Link for quietcomfort at this price? Cheers

    • Same ordered BOSS QC non ultra as ultra was 100$ more which isn't worth the extra features.

    • left my 6 year old qc35 on the train recently :(

    • Where did u get it at that price?

    • I've tried both several times, i found these a bit deeper and more comfortable that the qcs. Both are pretty conformable though.

I think these are the most comfortable I've tried, slightly nicer than xm5s.

  • Do this work on the Silver?

    • The silver ones are $0.71 cheaper so yes you should be able to

      • So that should be the deal eh better colour too

you need to sign up to business class and have an actual valid abn, because they verify it after 72 hours, before you can possibly gain access, and you need to get the right channel.

    • +3

Was verified in 15 minutes. YMMV

      • -1

Your genuine abn or random picked from internet?

        • My own business' ABN, if you're going for random ones, I guess you won't be passing the check?

  • +3

Does anybody have insight on the reason why amazon only make this available to business owners? Bit hard to consider this a deal when it doesn't apply to a lot of people.

    • Anyone can make an ABN for free

  • +3

I LOVE THESE HEADPHONES. ABSOLUTE BARGAIN AT THIS PRICE!

    • +1

I use them for 10 hours a day and I get no pain on my head/neck

  • +17

Is there a way to hide these Amazon Business Order deals?

Most of us don't have an ABN, and this can be used only once. Maybe people can just post individual deals as top comments in the original thread and make it long running

We could post all these app first order deals or new customer sign up discounts all day long

    • +12

I wouldn't even class these as a deal. The formula seems to be this: find popular electronics product, and post the Amazon business first order discount price

      • +3

Yep. So basically everything on amazon would be all time low

  • My bad waiting for the Amazon business account to be validated

  • +4

Didn't work for me even when creating a new business account and ABN….YMMV. Jumping all those hoops for nothing

  • I signed up yesterday with my abn and was approved yesterday when I add anything to my cart I don't get the discount. Not sure if I need to wait longer.

    • +1

You need to get an email saying the 30% discount is added to your account.

  • How to you get business Amazon access though?

  • I see $280 on the portal?

  • When you add the product into your basket you will get a credit applied bringing it down to the posted price. That’s what happened a couple of days ago when I ordered not sure if it’s changed.

  • Ah I got verified overnight but now there's no discount showing up

  • +2

No discount in checkout after switching to business

  • • Offer will be applied in up to two business days.

Hoping I just need to wait for the offer

    • Any luck? Nothing yet for me

  • +1

Business chat just told me it does take 48 hours to show up

  • A question - I already have Amazon Prime on my private Amazon account. If I convert to a business account do my Prime benefits still apply, or do I then have to subscribe to Business Prime?

    • Yes

      • Thanks, but yes my current Prime still applies, or yes I need to purchase Business Prime?

        • +1

I now have two accounts, and prime still works. You'll need to switch between normal and business

  • Anyone got the discount after waiting 2 business days? Verified at weekend and still no discount today…

    • Mine came through 3 days later eventually. You get a separate email

    • Signed up on Sunday, email came through today

  • Has the price increased on this? I can't seem to get it for $197 (it says $281).

    • That price is through the 30% off Amazon Business promo.

  • Can i get WH-1000XM5 at a cheaper price through Amanzon Business?

    • Black and Silver both show up as $385.

  • -1

    I got the Sony WH-1000XM5 for $285.

    It was originally $385, but Amazon gave me a $100 gift card {Just told them I saw the 30% off banner when I signed up (I lied) but now I don't see it}

so I paid $285 out of pocket. I’ll be claiming $250 from work as an expense, so in the end, the headphones only cost me $35 — best deal I’ve ever landed!
