Wingspan and Wyrmspan are both reasonable prices at $57. Other than the ones already posted, lots of party games and Monopoly skins.

    • Any good party games amongst them that you would recommend?

      • The website board game geek has a category called Party Games. You can browse there for the top rated and reviewed.

      • +2

None that I would recommend really. If you’ve got the patience, print a free copy of Secret Hitler and play that

    • TY got Wyrmspan

This along with the 1910 expansion (hard to find at the moment) is the definitive way to play TTR.

    • I might wait for the 2025 Metro Tunnel expansion…

      • +3

That one is being released in 2027.

        • +1

That's only if you need all 5 destination tickets.

    • +1

I prefer Europe and the 1912 expansion.

  • +1

Damn I just bought the Europe one when it went at a good price on Amazon. But this is cheap! I assume if I already have the EU one, the US one isn't much different?

    • +6

The USA version is just collect and build. IMO Europe is more fun with tunnels. Swizerland, even more so. India, Asia and Nordic are alright

    • IIRC also the USA version is the one with the 75% scale cards (feels tiny in your hand).

    • +1

Get the expansion for Europe as well, the additional routes is nice to change it up after you get used to the standard ones.

    • I looked at both and went with europe as it seemed like the US version was really lacking in variety. You will like europe, good choice.

thanks.. another board game to the collection.

There are some nice 3D printed inserts for it too

    • those are awesome, cheers

Got a price match with jb, had a $10 perks voucher and paid with gift card to get it for $17.46

My wife bought this for the kids and insisted that everyone participates and I have to say it's a pretty crap game. Most of the time everyone is just busy building on their own part of the map and not much interaction between the players.

Don't waste the money, you get more satisfaction when buying eneloops from ikea.

    • seems to align with what @soan papdi said about collect & build

    • +3

That can happen with people who don’t play these types of games much. Once you get comfortable with what you’re doing and can start to mess with other players it’s much more fun.

This is also the most basic of all TTR games

  • So good, cheers OP!

Also noticed that Wingspan (Special Edition) for Switch including three DLCs is on sale for $47

'Asia' expansion was released today by the way!

  • +2

    No thanks, I ain't getting Jumaji'd.

  • Great game, especially with three players plus. There is definitely strategy when it comes to blocking opponents and psychological games about concealing your intentions. Has the right amount of skill vs luck to be fun for all family.
If you family has never played TTR it is better to start here IMO.

Heat is a great game and fantastic value at $57
