I normally just call their contact centre and the staff has always been helps in setting it up for you.

Yes - but its coming up at 10300 PHD for me (~AUD$280). Previously the discounts had it down to AUD$180.
Currently I have a renewal link from Accor for $299.

Technically no, but you can get around it by registering under a different email address.
I’ve got Platinum status and if I do what you’re suggesting then I forfeit that status.

@HomebrewFC: Not everything can be combined. Accor Plus China cannot be combined with Accor Plus, but it'll give bonus status nights to the same email account.

I decided to go for this. The extra status nights were credited straight away, but no sign of the points. I found a link on their website and queried this. They told me I had contacted the wrong department and gave me an email address to use. The emails to that address could not be delivered. So I phoned them. They told me the points would arrive within 30 days of 2nd July, the closing date of the offer.
Why don't Accor make anything simple?
Because it's in the T&C already. Should have spent extra few seconds to open it and read:
Fair enough, I get sick of reading T&Cs. Anyhow, points received yesterday. I was told they need to be done manually, sounds tedious for somebody, and I can't understand why they don't automate these things.
I was having issues signing up to PH via VPN, it kept on redirecting me to the HK website. Reached out to Customer care and I got assigned an agent contact now from PH sales and we communicate through Whatsapp, very efficient and friendly guy. The bonus points is until July 2, 3pm I was told. Comes to about $178 considering the value of 3000 rewards points. He asked me to join on July 1st so the expiry will be the end of July 2026.

3000 rewards points simply equal 60 euros. Not sure where you got $178 from.
He means PH A+ 10300PHP about 278AUD minus 3000 rewards points 60 euros about 107AUD so 278-107=171 exchange rate at the moment.

I received my points yesterday. Signed up around this time last month. In the T&C of the promo, it does mention may take 30 days from conclusion of the promo.

Status points expire every year on 31 dec ie have to be used by then but the stay date itself can be later than 31 dec, correct?
Cannot use Status Point - they are accumulated purely for status upgrades. If you are short on a few status points to retain your current status or upgrade to the next level, you can book and check-in by December 31, and the status points for the stay will be counted for that year, even if you check-out on January 10 the following year.

Rewards Points expire 12 month after the day of last stay. If you stay in an Accor hotel the reward points expiration date will extend for another year. Depending on your points balance sometimes it is a good idea to book a night (even using rewards points) at the cheapest hotel nearby to keep the points.
