Picxked one of these up last week. I very much like it when my appliances have recoil.

For fun I pointed it at my birdie to give him a breeze. Poor bastard nearly hit the roof.

  • +5

good price I bought mine from amazon for $95

  • +1

Beat me to it, just picked one up as I missed the ebay deal the other day.

  • +2

    Bought finally, thanks op.

  • +2

Is this a good model for one of these jet fans? I've always been interested in the ads I see of them, but have never done any research into which brands are good or not.

    • +11

Apparently this is the best value for money and ranked extremely highly against the others. See video here

      https://youtu.be/X_ncYXk1cP4

      • +1

Great video! Convinced me, I just bought one.

      • +5

I bought one based on this video and can confirm that the Wolfbox MF100 is extremely effective. Well worth the money if you use canned air dusters.

      • +2

        Not best value, best.

      • +2

Was not ready for the energy in this video. Somehow ended up buying one. Am going to close OzBargain before I start buying knives

    • +5

I have one and it's really impressive for its size. Battery life was shorter than I expected, but I guess a device packing that much punch needs some juice.

  • +6

I've got one of these, it's a monster. Use it as a leaf blower for my balcony and it does a great job. Battery doesn't last if running at full power (maybe 10ish mins) but that's to be expected.

    • Tempted to get one to blow moss off the roof

  • +1

    Thanks OP

  • +1

    Thanks, was waiting for this

  • They must have changed something cause it says this code “AUAF15” cannot be used with other codes.

    • Are you sure you're checking out in AUD? I just checked out for $81.79 so it seems to still be working

      • Turns out it is Aliexpress being an amazing website. Just make sure you update your address before you enter any promo codes. It invalidated the codes for me after I changed my address.

    • New account with no purchases? New users get a first purchase Welcome deal. It makes some products really cheap.

  • +1

How did you get the $25 discount? I could only get $15 off from the code "AUAF15", total $92.69 is what i can see

    • +1

On the listing hit the red text that says $15 off over $105, scroll to the bottom for the store coupon

    • +2

Collect the store coupon of $10.90

      • +3

        You're Legend! Thanks mate

      • Thanks!!

  • Does any one here has both MF50 and MF100 and could comment on how they compare?

    • +1

if you've looking for the BEST duster, COSANO x7 is the only one that i've come across thats more powerful than MF100, but its more expensive.

      • +1

I think this goes by a few names, as I've also seen it as the Solareye X7AU: https://www.amazon.com.au/Solareye-Compressed-Air-Duster-Rec…
I've seen a few reviews saying that it is decently stronger than the MF100, but the price difference is a little steep especially given that the MF100 is on sale for such a good price at the moment

        • +2

As I replied to another user, I got a solar just to compare these two, this week.

Okay, yeah, out the box I thought the solareye was about on par, but much noisier, and decently bigger. Until I realised it's default nozzle is twice as large. So it was pushing a lot more air.

The thing is though, swapping nozzles down, the effect doesn't keep up. I don't know if it's because of nozzle design or something something static pressure something fan pitch something, but at the same nozzle size the gap closes a lot. I'd say it's about 20%-30% more powerful in practice at the smaller.

This only narrows for the smallest size duster-tip nozzle. Here the wolfbox actually feels more powerful. For dusting/blasting out electronics, the wolfbox pulls ahead again, and it's much smaller, so you'll get it in far more places.

The wolfbox is significantly smaller, significantly quieter, significantly lighter, has more nozzle styles, and is far more premium feeling, and seems to keep it's own for the short range stuff.

The solar can be stood up like a can, has more accessory cleaning brushes etc, wins on raw power, and obstensibly has ~15% more battery. I also noticed it got warm in the hand, and warmer at the output, so I think it's dissipating heat better, meaning it'd likely run longer and have less long term issues. It actually feels like a cracked out hairdryer in the hand, more than a portable "blower'. But it's still smaller than a can of air.

I'd recommend the wolfbox if you're replacing canned air, the solar if you're wanting a super compact blower instead of the bigger ryobi/etc type shop blowers or are running it more than a minute at a time.

On that basis, I might just keep both. The solar for the garage/workshop, the wolfbox for electronics/dusting around the house.

I can definitely see the Solar wins for car drying / blowing snow / clearing leaves off the balcony, etc. At the larger nozzle size it hammers.

          • @Ademos: Thanks for your thoughts and the write up. I would have considered the Solareye if it was closer in pricing, as I would have found it useful for blowing leaves and things outside. Given the discounted pricing on the Wolfbox though, I am pretty happy with it and can't complain.

          • @Ademos: Thanks for the review

      • I bought both this week (well, branded solareye) to compare. See my other comment below on this chain!

  • +1

can you use this for car wash? like to blow the water awaY?

    • +1

I tried with my Wolfbox MF50 as it's one of the advertised features. But it didn't do much, compared to driving the car. These electric air dusters don't seem to do too well at moving around water in general. At least in my experience.

      • +2

        The 50 doesn't hold a candle to the 100.

      • thanks buddy!

    • +1

If the paint is bare, and has no protection On, then the water is going to stick. You're better off using a towel.
However, on the subsequent wash, with the wax on, yep, it's gorgeous to blow away.

It's better suited for motorcycles and those small crevices. Not for cars with bare paint.

  • +2

Bought one. What do people use these for?

    • +1

      Cleaning out PC's mostly.
You can also use them to do some indoor dusting or clean leaves off your car/porch

    • +9

I like to point it up my pants leg for that fresh country breeze feeling

    • +1

Handheld leaf blower and blowing dust out of a Dyson vacuum cleaner seem to be the best uses I've discovered so far. Blows dust from surfaces indoors nicely.

    • +2

I use mine to speed up coal in bbq, and cleaning the dust from vacuum.

    • +6

Cleaning keyboards, insides of PC cases, aircon filters, flyscreens, window grilles, fan grilles. Anywhere you'd use a can of compressed air pretty much.

  • +8

Wanted to buy but couldn't justify a good reason.

    • +1

      Same.
I have one from aaaaages ago and it does the job. I'll wait till it dies before I get this.

    • Yeah me to. In like the idea of it, but most light air needs are usually covered by a soft vacuum brush head, and i otherwise have an air compressor.

But i really feel i want one

  • +1

Thanks OP, finally pulled the trigger
Hopefully good for car dash, keyboard, dyson filter etc.

  • Doesnt work, For security reasons your request can't currently be processed

so its at 96 dollars, sad I was actually looking for one to clean my pc and figures

    • +3

Try incognito mode, a different device, or try code 'AUEF15' instead

      • Oh lol it says account disabled on incognito

        • +1

haha, try to make a new account i guess. should work then.

      • +1

Thanks for this! AUEF15 Worked for me where AUAF15 wouldn't, and I ended up paying $49USD

      • +1

        Thanks AUEF15 worked for me!

    • +1

I had to fiddle around with the discount codes in my cart - got it to work finally

    • +1

SAME error when i copy past the code but issue resolved on typing the code

  • Hows this for dog grooming my japanese spitz? Anyone used it for this purpose. Was only going to get it for PC but then saw the item says can be used for dogs too?

    • The Chinese swallows gonna get angry…

    • get a proper pet dryer with heating function. I use it as a car dryer too.

  • +1

Thanks OP. Bought one. Hopefully I can find it useful 🙃.
I managed to use Topcashback. Not sure how exact the 5% cashback as Aliexpress credit works. Hopefully the purchase got registered 🤞

  • I got the MF50 for $42 off eBay a week or two ago. I think it's probably better value in terms of performance per dollar.
Still testing what it is and isn't good for.

  • come on Temu can u do this for $5 ?

  • It blows.

  • +1

I got $76.56 after the above code and with Afterpay that was selected by default. Not sure how I managed that.

    • Wow. Lucky you 🙂

  • +1

Thanks OP, been waiting for Amazon to drop but this is better :-)

  • Got this last week from AliExpress for $100 :(

Received it yesterday and it’s perfect. No regrets.

  • +1

Thanks OP. ordered. later i'll find out what to do with it.

  • +2

For anyone wanting a stronger one than this wolfbox that I bought while on sale from Amazon and ended up returning it as it's not as strong as this one.
    https://amzn.asia/d/4SguqkL

Both are in great tough built quality , but I just wanna stronger jet stream .

I'm using it to blow water of the car windows in winter morning, blow dust from garage and patios , to blow leaves from gutter , cleanup rubbish from car floor, blow water off shower screen after shower, sweep leaves and grass after mowing and pruning , not lastly - the dog loves it . I found the wolfbox was not strong enough to do the those fun jobs

    • Did you buy the wolfbox 50 though, not the 100?

      • +2

This is twice as powerful as the MF100

      • 100% the 100 from recent Amazon sale. It's up to everyone needs though. I need the super strong one.

        • I have decided to get one, and report back as to wether or not y'all jerking the gherkin.

          • @Ademos: yes Sir , ready Sir !! .

            • +3

              • @Ademos: 100 % with your review there, and the wolfbox definitely a lot safer to use for charcoal bbq usage

    • +2

could it blow water off after a car wash?

    • +1

Thanks for saving me from buying the Wolfbox

  • interesting, whats the difference between this one , other than the attachments? i have this one, it is very strong blower for the size. buy paying almost 100$ for this is crazy, literally 2 battery and a motor and no high tech in it.

    • I bought something like that, 40 or 60 bucks. it's bad. these are all hit and miss unless it's recommended as per this post

      • yeah this is such a scam price…..so surprised ozbargain ppl actually pay for this…..

        • what is? This post?

        • I didn't say this one was bad. This post seems to be a good one. You don't understand until you use one, the good ones are so powerful it knocks your hand backwards when you use it.

I tried my friend's good one it's pretty insane. The motor is high rpm I don't think it's an old thing it's new tech, not high tech but new tech.

    • Thanks mate, you saved me $100

  • +1

Damn code expired just as I was completing checkout… universe telling me I don't need it.

Edit: Strangely received a message from WOLFBOX saying I haven't paid for my order… So looks like the universe does want me to have it.

  • Bough similar thing on temu aud 22, just search air duster. Im happy, good enough to blow my nas once a month.

  • -3

Better to pay $10 extra to get it from Amazon. you can do easy return in case of warranty. With Ali Express, once purchase protection period ends, they is no warranty claim.

    • +1

Amazon is currently $116.79, which means you’re paying $35. If you read OP’s description, you’re also getting another ~$6-7 in cashback, and also $5.22 in AliExpress credit, so out of pocket additional $50

Also to note that the image shows 18 months free warranty and you’re buying directly from Wolfbox anyway

      • Amazon sales comes very often.

        • I haven’t seen a price drop below $100 for a few months

        • The current amazon price of $116.79 is already an amazon sale. It's typically listed for $145.99 on Amazon.

  • Where do you see it "$10 extra"…. in the here and now its $116 on Amazon!

  • +1

Bought this for $95 a month ago. Never thought I'd pay so much what is effectively a duster but no regrets.

It BLOWS, I've used it for so many random things around the house.

  • Do not convert it from USD as you will be getting lesser from the AliExpress discount, as you can only use AUAF06 due to the conversion

Ah crap I didn't do this. Although I was still able to use AUAF15 to get 10USD off. Final price was $53.31 which included $0.73 in coins. ING charged me $82.60 AUD.

    Feeling gutted tbh.

  • +3

    @BargainsGrabber
    Deal is available again
Clip code 2UAZ6QLNEYW4 and it shows $80.03 at the checkout before cashback etc.

    • +3

      80.02 for me!!

    • How do you get $80.02 it comes down to $88 for me using the code you provided

      • have you added the other code in the deal post? AUAF15

          • @Sunnyoz: Confirming both codes stack when Payton pinged me

              • @Sunnyoz: I think you need to get the code on the product page. Find the coupon area and find 2UAZ6QLNEYW4
