I have mine installed right next to the garage door, I can swing them flat against the wall where the door opens plenty enough with clearance of the handle bars.

As with the stock part, you have to bend down and rotate the rear wheel so that the plastic will go in between the spokes when swiveled right against the wall.
To be fair their promo images only show the mount going around 45deg swivel but I can go until the bars hit the wall which is exceptional for, door opening clearance!
