It's back in stock. Just bought 2.
Has anyone got this to work with home assistant? How reliable is it?
I have a esp32 Bluetooth mesh setup around the house
From reading it should just work out of the box?

I didn't realise esp32 supported Bluetooth Mesh. Was it difficult to set up?
I bought a Xiaomi Curtain Companion robot but cannot use it with Home Assistant because it's Bluetooth Mesh.
Pretty simple just follow the esp32 home Bluetooth proxy instructions to flash the correct software onto the esp32. Add to home assistant and home assistant will just start using all of them to communicate with Bluetooth devices.
I have one deployed in every room.
@[Deactivated]: I know that process for normal Bluetooth, but haven't been able to get Bluetooth "Mesh" working. My understanding was that Bluetooth Mesh was not supported in HA. There's a HACS integration that enables Bluetooth Mesh through a special Xiaomi hub, but I haven't tried it.
@Dinjay: Mine came today. Used the switchbot app to calibrate it initially. Home assistant detected the curtain immediately through esp32 Bluetooth proxy.
Works really well. Motor on the noisy side though.
Also not sure why switchbot states that it only supports a max of 3m track length. My curtains are on a 6m track and opens from left to right and it works perfectly fine.
@[Deactivated]: What type of curtain do you have? I can't match mine, which looks like the Spotlight tracks to SwitchBot offerings - mine don't seem like U-Rail or even I-Rail.
Great price, temporarily out of stock now
