Fast Charge
Boost X is now turbo-chargeable. It is equipped with USB-C technology that, combined with power delivery, gives you lightning-fast recharges. Completely recharge the GBX155 in 2.7 hours, or go from 0% to jump starting in just 5-minutes of charge. With Boost X’s 60W USB-C input and output, it is possible to charge up to 5X faster. Use compatible chargers up to 60W to increase your charging speed.

Auto Power Conservation
Start the vehicle within 60 seconds after pressing the power button on Boost. After the 60-second timeout is complete, the unit must be powered off, then back on, to initiate a new jump-start sequence. The yellow power LED indicates the 60-second sequence is over and can be reset if another jump start sequence is needed.

Spark Proof
We took our UltraSafe technology and made it better— UltraSafe 2.0. It's still our simple, mistake-free design featuring spark-proof technology and reverse polarity protection, but with enhanced thermal efficiency and power management to provide better performance and longer battery life.

Ultra-Bright
More than a jump starter, Boost X is a useful tool for daily use and emergency situations alike. The GBX155 is equipped with a 500-Lumen LED flashlight with various brightness modes, SOS, and emergency strobe— handy to have as a roadside or road trip tool.

Gooloo GT4000 is a fraction of the price, and just as good.

Noco is a much more reputable and reliable brand.

That's part of what you're paying for.

      • +4

I'm sure your right, but there is nothing wrong with the Gooloos. I've had mine for a couple of years and it works brilliantly. I'd suggest that people compare the two before deciding if it is worth spending 4x the amount on this.

        • Never said there was anything wrong with gooloo.
I own a gooloo after Scotty Killmer reviewed it and it does exactly what I need it to do.

But still, noco has a better brand reputation, and a solid history of reliability, that costs something. Now despite me owning a gooloo, I would still assume the noco equivalent product is going to be better quality and last longer.

@whitepuma: Gooloo has an excellent reputation and doesn't cost the customer.
This hardly seems like a deal.

            • @rainbowunicorn: So would you say Gooloo's reputation is the same, greater than, or less than NOCO?

Despite me owning a Gooloo charger (Correction to my previous comment i have a charger not a jump starter), i also own a NOCO, i can confidently say the build quality of the two are very different, and if i had to take 1 away with me for a long trip to depend on, it would always be the Noco.

      • My Gooloo is rock solid

        • Nobody is saying Gooloo isn't good, but i'm sorry to say this, Noco still has the better reputation, and despite Gooloo being "rock solid", Noco still has better build quality and brand reputation. This is coming from someone that owns both Gooloo and Noco products.

If you are on a budget, hands down i agree go with the Gooloo.

However, if you want simply the best (which if i'm being honest in this particular product case is overkill for the average commuter), go Noco.

          Their both excellent options
They just shouldn't be compared as like for like products.

Wow 4250A @ 12V is 51kW of power, but for how long?

  • +2

Such overkill what are you starting a battleship?

  • What a stupid price to pay for this if all you're doing is keep it in case you need to jump start a car or motorcycle. I can believe that quality is better, but it's not $550 level better.
