For those who missed the JB deal recently, this is 5% more expensive but comes with free delivery
Stack with 6.5% cashback via Cashrewards to make it about the same price as the recent deal :)

Not long before 65" becomes a "bedroom" TV if these prices come down much more lol.
I tried and it looked ridiculous. Went straight back to a 55".
Really?
I wall mounted my 65" S90D in the bedroom, I think it looks fine, dare I say I could go bigger.
Is that a master bedroom?
@Maths Debater: Nah just a small room in my 1 bed apartment.

Sorry about the mess lol
Shhhh I just bought a 65" as a bedroom tv
Some(including me) were able to tweak the previous deal to get this TV for $2941.35
Discounted GCs?
I bet it was price matching another retailer for the discounted price, and then getting someone in store at JB to add the 15% discount code
I did, i also paid with JB gift card which I got for 10% off. So end price I paid is around $2650 and the guy even give me free delivery.
One thing i do find is this is not as bright as my Samsung QN90D. So it kind of struggle a little in the bright afternoon.
But for the price just cant go wrong.
@Aerith-Waifu: I understood you used gift cards to get extra 10% but how did you get the selling price under 3k?
@Goodproduction: there was a 15% discount code you can apply when you are in the store, i think a few other people has managed the same
Oh right. Matching Retrovision?
Why are OzB so into this above the Samsung 90F one out of interest?
A little more expensive ($200?) but seems to outperform in gaming, brightness etc.
Dolby Vision
DV matters a bit less on G5/S95F levels where peak brightness is higher but I agree this is still why I got G5 over S95F.
S90F got gimped in Australia this year, and the panels are woled instead of qd-oledl. I guess with them both being woled, it's a case of lg having better upscaling and processing, while s90f doesn't have issues with dimmed game mode and hdr10
I had heard the 77 was QD OLED?
I don't think so unfortunately, you can check it - if the serial number ends in EXXY it's WOLED, whereas a WXXY is QD-OLED. I'm not 100% sure but I saw it on an rtings video about the tv, and then found a few things around confirming that. 65 and 77 both end in exxy
Only the 55" is QD-OLED.
No DV, shit remote, poor QC, useless OS, known to nerf specs via firmware updates, the list goes on.
Better than that Sky News post
