This deal is better than my previous post from Domayne. It also stacks with 6.5% Cashback from Cash Rewards.

Most people don't end up using the touch screen in my experience, but it's definitely a personal thing. Some people wouldn't want to live without them
I'd go for the better specs (this compared to say a touch screen), you'll notice them being better day by day.
Better specs.
If you want touch screen get a tablet
That's a Snapdragon based laptop in your link. You may have compatibility issues with software and hardware because it's ARM on Windows. t's far from a mature ecosystem. I still have issues with software/hardware not working a year since release compared to my x86 AMD and Intel systems.
I have a touch screen for work laptop I get surprised everytime I accidentally touch the screen and realise it's a touchscreen. Have yet to come across a scenario where it is useful over the mouse.
If using a mouse I'd be hard pressed to use the touch screen, but when using just the track pad the touch is nice to have. The laptop I have can fold backwards so it's like a tablet
I've always found myself using the touchscreen to scroll and browse as it feels similar to the phone experience and pretty fun
Id personally opt for the touchscreen unless you NEED the better specs for work or games
i'm showing my age lol… i think my kids would try that and expect the screen to work for scrolling.. i'm more comfy with scrolling using touchpad or a mouse scroll wheel … that's why for me i don't find it useful or even forget that my laptop is touchscreen
my cashback extension only shows 1.5%…
When I follow the link, it shows $1,097
Have they changed the price?10% off flash discount is applied at checkout. It expires in 8 hours
I just purchased for $987.30, plus went through cashrewards so hopefully that 6.5% will come through toGuess its too late for that then…
Thank you! I picked this one up, after picking up the HP deal from yesterday, which I'll now return. The extra RAM, slightly larger OLED screen and MicroSD card reader more than make up for the loss of 2 CPU cores.
Agree that Lenovo one is a more well-rounded laptop. 6 cores CPU wont show much difference if you are a light user with MS Office, web browsing and email.
HP one compromises too much on the 13.3" model (eg. case material, battery, thermal) for ultra light weight.
Resolution is crap.
Why do you need more than 1080p at 14"?
I was comparing with similar offers. It might be perfect for your needs but you can get better at same price can't you?
