  • Any benefit over this and a cordless drill?
    https://www.bunnings.com.au/trojan-100mm-paint-drill-mixer_p…

    • Yeah I'm not sure what the use case is for a dedicated device lol

      • I'd only buy it for a Total Recall party. Benny! Screw you!

      • Yeh Def anything involving large quantities of dry materials eg. Quick set concrete , mortar, cement and the like.

I love bunnings, "Tackle a large range of materials* " and footnote denoting * nowhere to be found.

        • *This mixer is only suitable for water based adhesives. It is not suitable for heavy duty 2-part epoxies.

          • @redpen: Always was terrible at Where's Wally/Spot the Difference

        • found it:

    • If doing anything more than paint, yes.

Even with paint your typical small battery drill will be a bit wobbly.

I have a couple of different paint drill mixers which I use with my cordless drill (for paint all you need is this https://www.bunnings.com.au/trojan-36mm-paint-drill-mixer_p0… ). I would not dream of trying to mix render/mortar/plaster or anything else with it the drill attachment mixers unless using a heavy duty large drill.

Great deal with battery and charger. I have purchased but the use will be only for non paint mixing.

I just send it with my in-warranty ozito drill

      • What would you use for 2part epoxy? (desire saying it's specifically not for use with) this or a paint paddle?

I might actually need something for this specific purpose, I can't imagine mixing more than a couple litres of each 2part at once without it beginning to set before completely mixed. Then again, very few use cases of 2part epoxy call for large quantities.

Based on actually applying my brain and logic, I guess a paint paddle is probably the appropriate choice…

        • I vote cheap paint paddle. You could probably combine in a single container, place lid on and shake well..

Are these good for milkshakes ?

    • +2

After last time, I don't care how good your milkshakes are… we're not coming back to your yard.

      • It wasn't entirely my fault. Next time read the T&C's.

      • Keep clear of his van as well.

    • …My Ozito brings all the boys to the yard!

    • If you like them extra thick and use a garden hose or larger as a straw, I can definitely see the need!

Corded is much better and more powerful if mixing like tile adhesive

    • Either you require regular use and own a 2-stroke or be better of hiring one for the one off job. A post-hole-digger can serve as a multifunctional device (available in 36v from most other manufacturers, which is highly recommended for digging/mixing large quantities/frequent use). I don't know why Ozito didn't opt for a 2x 18v for their post digger, I can't imagine 18v having the torque for anything more than loose packed, dry sand.

      • It's surprisingly good. Ripped out holes nicely in fairly clay heavy ground. Honestly I was very surprised. It really rips your hands on the power setting if you're being a bit lazy with the grip. I'd have liked a 36v version too, however I gotta say I haven't actually needed it so far it's been fantastic in clay ground.

  • Fianlly, I can drink protein in bulk.

  • The beater blade models are much better at descaling fish

  • what's with all these things that could be used in the kitchen.

only going to piss off your SO.

I read a funny review on the ozito air duster. guy said he uses it to blow dirt off surfaces and dry the dishes faster and wifey is pissed off everytime. 😂
