In direct retaliation to the Canon 7D posting… I've been researching D7000's for a month or so now and this is definitely the cheapest deal going around made better by the fact its a local "Australian" company with a decent reputation albeit a grey import. All warranty issues can be claimed at their North Sydney depot and they also offer an extended warranty (2 years extra) that includes accidental abuse for an additional $120.

No credit card surcharge with visa or mastercard.

You can pickup from depot in North Sydney or have it delivered. All orders over $150 offer free delivery.

    It is not clear if this is Ozstock or grey import. I think it is grey as the price is quite cheap and they mention in their warranty section if stock does not have manufacturer warranty they will cover it. If this is the case then is it still bargain compared to other grey imports?

      DDP get their items from HK. But they do supply you with an Australian adaptor. Having said that, they do have a 12 months warranty thru them.
      I've purchased most of my gears from them and for the last 6 years not a single problem.

      Good price considering I paid $1,200 8 months ago for the same thing.

    It's definitely a parallel import. All australian stock from authorised resellers have a 2 year Nikon warranty.

    This is a good deal for regular bargain hunters but an elite bargain hunter like me needs a Canon because they can mount the mint Schneider-Kreuznach Tele-Variogon 80-240mm f4 I found on Gumtree for $100.

    DDP is reasonably priced. I ordered one from them on 3rd of jan and am yet to receive it. So be sure to note that if they don't have it in "stock" it will take upto 2 weeks to receive it. The only reason I ordered from them is because they provide a gst tax invoice so I can get the Gst back when I go overseas which makes it even more cheaper! Alternatively dwi is around the same price and you will get it in 3 business days.

      Yeah i had a look at DWI but they were about $40 extra for the body plus their diamond 3 year warranty was $45 more expensive too. I called today and they said 7-10 day wait so heres hoping yours and mine might come in on the same shipment;)

    Good price. Hurts that I paid ~$1600 about two years ago. D90 never dropped in price this much.
