Seafood Buffet Dinner $39.50 at Four Points by Sheraton Darling Harbour (Normally $85)

371

Originally offered through Facebook, the Four Points by Sheraton at Darling Harbour is offering their seafood buffet for $39.50 per person — slightly cheaper than the offer posted six months ago. No Facebook 'like' is necessary.

Simply make a reservation through this page, print and present to staff upon arrival. Starwood Privilege members also receive a free bottle of wine. EDIT: Noticed that the free wine is for "Starwood Privilege" and not "Starwood Preferred Guest" as I has previously indicated.

Although not specifically stated, I presume this will be at The Corn Exchange Restaurant, which seems to get very good reviews on TripAdvisor.

In their own words:
Come and Enjoy our Sumptuous Seafood Buffet Dinner, including a range of fresh market seafood, salads, hot dishes, antipasto and a dessert buffet!
JUST $39.50* per person
*Bookings essential. Subject to availability. Valid for January 2013 only. If you have difficulty booking online please call (02) 9290 4000 for more information.
Starwood Privilege guests receive a bottle of wine on top of their usual benefits.

whats the original price for this buffet? Do they have crabs and lobsters there?? If yes, I'm going!

    • I was looking for the normal price when preparing the post but couldn't find it. Found various 'offers' of 2-for-$99 so it definitely seems cheaper than their usual discount pricing. Not sure about crab and lobster though, I guess we will find out when we go there…

    • Assuming it is the Corn Exchange, it should be $85 a head - http://www.cornexchangerestaurant.com/seafoodbuffet. Can't comment on the type of seafood, might want to give them a call.

      Cool story bro

      • I know right? I mean seriously, just feed your 4 year old something else from your bag. I'm sure the staff will understand if your 4 year old doesn't eat any seafood.

  • awesome.buffet.nom.nom.nom.

  • is this deal available for lunch??? or just dinner times

    • Last time I went to a buffet I had 40 oysters. There's my money's worth right there!!

haven't been to this place for ages, used to be around $65-70 (price varies depend on lunch vs dinner/ weekday vs weekend etc) and I only ever go with Buy One Get One Free offer (Vivid Sydney, 9 to 5 Magazine advertisement … ) so ended up paying $32-35 pp. Food was excellent. seafood, cold & hot food, desserts amazing. Loved it. Not sure about the quality now. Thanks for the post, $39 is still very reasonable. might give them a go.

    • You should submit a new deal for that… might get deal of the month ;)

      • Its normal price maybe not bargain as most would want a discount if posted on ozbargain. Anyone feel free to post if want to.

Been for the seafood buffet here before. The range of dish choices is pretty frugal. If you spent $85 you'd definitely feel ripped off. It's not so bad for $39.50 though.

    • I've also been here before paid $50 and seriously, not the greatest selection of food given the price I paid.

I would rather do the Garden Buffet at Star City.

    Breakfast: $34.90 everyday Child*: $16.90
    Lunch: Mon-Fri $30.90, Sat-Sun (& public holidays) $36.90, Child*: $16.90
    Dinner: Mon-Thur $37.90, Fri-Sun (& public holidays) $43.90, Child*: $16.90

    No need to book.

Went to this buffet 2 months ago and it was crap. Worst service and food was average at best.

Not recommended. Not a good deal. Went for birthday and was a big disappointment,

Food very ordinary, plates and cutlery didn't sparkle.

no lobster. its not the best buffet but its ok. getting there was hard for us we had to walk a long time because the monorail was broken dont go on a busy day because the que for food is long and if your happy to wait an hour for oysters, nearly everyone hoards oysters, they are only small and i think some would be better off just going and buying $40 of oysters at the fish market. the dont have a huge selection, only about 8 hot dishes and nothing is labelled so it was hard to tell what they were but the food was nice nothing extrordinary. the service was ok not amazing. but the room was really hot so it made it uncomfortable and it was not a hot day outside. the drinks menu does not have prices but i think the soft drinks were about $5 a glass. when booking try not to sit against the window, there is seating inside and outside and they postion tables against the window next to each other so it feels like your sitting at the same table with strangers because ony a thin peice of glass seperates you. overall i was happy with the experience. not thrilled but not dissappointed, was not worth full price imo. the atmosphere was friendly while in the que for food, spoke with a few people and it was unanimous that sheriton on the park is definatly alot better but they were booked out so it was second choice for most that were there. star is a very different style buffet so its no comparison, the price is better but its not seafood, it mainly focus on a huge range of delicous hot foods and desserts, star is good but people are prone to eat too much and get sick. i prefer not to dine with people who go there as a once off because you do want to try everything and there is just too much so if your like that then keep your portions small - very small and go back for seconds after if you have room - take advantage of their generous promotions, that is a buffet you will want to go back too.

  • Garden buffet is a lot better at star city, it's also more fresh!

    • how much for 7 years old child?

    • lol dont think so

they usually have lobstar here on special occasions

i went there for fathers day couple years baack, they had it

  • Got a call from them this morning no seats on the 27th…

  • Apparently this hotel is under renovations. Not sure the details, but it may impact your dining experience.

I stayed here last year, and there isn't much of a view/ambiance in the dining area.

  • How about parking?Do they have cheap parking on site or any cheap and closer parking there?
