I was looking to replace my AirTouch N20 Memory Foam Cushions with and came across this deal. They were already selling them cheaper than other stores for the 3-pack and 10% extra off was a no brainer. I also proceeded to stock up on other items I knew I was going to need in the future.

Pretty self explanatory, 10% off sitewide with the code EOFY10

Enjoy

I hardly think 10% off qualifies as a mega sale

    • Correct. 10% off barely counts as a discount full stop.

  • There companies who make these should be looked into, like the machines and masks should be so much cheaper than they are

    • You could say that about every company. Power companies, consulting companies, IT companies, Colesworth, Banks, etc etc etc ad infinitum. Everyone wants their profit$.

      • I think op is pointing out how these type of companies use a control the market tactic.

        • Only the problem is CPAP is not covered by any patent, and multiple companies manufacture and sell them. Just seems no other company wants to come to Australia, unlike overseas.

The CEO of ResMed is the most well paid CEO of any Australian company

A quick google says he comes in at around 3rd-5th highest. Still exorbitant obviously.

There companies who make these should be looked into…

      I am sure they did.

I find it more frustrating that for such a prevelant health condition, there is no support from Medicare or Health insurance past initial diagnosis. Especially when it's a chronic condition requiring ongoing expenditure often for life. :(

If you suffer from sleep apnea and you're considered obese (which most suffers typically would be), speak with your GP about Mounjara to get your weight down and you won't need to use CPAP any more! Good Luck

    • +1

Just to clarify, you don't have to be obese to have OSA. I was skinny as a rake when first diagnosed. Sure, there's a correlation, but it's not always as simple as "get your weight down and you won't need to use CPAP any more."

      • You could say tat OP is partially correct here I guess.

Mounjaro, the brand name for the drug tirzepatide, is an injectable medication originally developed for type 2 diabetes and obesity. Clinical trials have shown that in obese patients with moderate-to-severe obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), tirzepatide treatment can lead to significant weight loss and reduce sleep apnea severity by up to two-thirds, improving symptoms and related health markers.

However, while Mounjaro can reduce the severity of sleep apnea and potentially lessen dependence on CPAP, it is not a guaranteed replacement for CPAP therapy. CPAP remains the first-line treatment for OSA, and stopping its use should only be considered under medical supervision after evaluating symptom improvement.

Thus, Mounjaro helps improve OSA by addressing obesity, but it does not universally eliminate the need for CPAP.

        • Thats pretty much what i said. ;)

And "Moujaro helps improve OSA for SOME people by addressing obesity….." would be a better way to put it.

Im not famiiar with that particular drug but i would imagine its not even 100% effective at addressing obesity, let alone OSA.

Sweeping generalisations are about as helpful as a specific drug being recommended to fix your OSA. ;)

    • Diagnosed with moderate-severed (27 ahi) obstructive sleep apnea, I'm 64 kg, BMI normal (23.7).
If you're sleeping like crap, just go it checked.
It is more common in a certain body type

FYI: OSA is the cause of weight gain, not the other way around. Source: https://www.racgp.org.au/afp/2017/july/obstructive-sleep-apn…
