Decent value for a quick clean vac. But what I will say is that you really need a proper bagged plug in vacuum. After doing a stack of research the last month and eventually buying a sebo e3 premium the difference is absolutely night and day and our house is actually clean now.
Yes they are 1500, but it will last 20 years, we've had dyson ls and eventually the micro dust from the bag less bins makes them hopeless unless you use the boost function. We now use our v8 for spot cleaning.
But honestly you'll never look back if you get a sebo. There's also a turbo model under 1k that is also really great if you don't want to spend 1500.

Agree with the miele. Also everyones situation is different, you may live in a clapped out 40 year old house with moldy carpet vs someone in a brand new modern townhouse with mainly floor boards.

People love the convenience of these cordless ones but they certainly aren't as good as something like a Miele.
Dysons in my experience having owned a couple are vastly overrated.
i have both - v8 and Miele - I cant really use Dyson anymore unless its at max suction and that lasts 5 min

V10 onwards too heavy v8 was just right. I've been saying this for years
Or get V12 Detect Slim. It has all the latest features and is a tiny bit lighter then V8. Downside is the bin is smaller and it costs almost the same as Gen5 Detect. Dyson really needs to increase the size of the bin so it's the best of both worlds.
Accessories are different to the others though. The V7/8/10/11/15 can all use the same accessories. So it's easier and cheaper to get KO accessories from AE. V12 is only compatible with the Omni accessories.

its with eBay plus pretty annoying before 1pm was $327 with code PLUSSS then after discount with $357, now $387 without plus with $30 discount $357 so $30 increased means not much discount about 10% more

There was a mislisting on Ebay this morning for the V8 Absolute for $339 using code V8VAC. Not sure if Dyson would have honored it. I tried to post it, but it says my account is too new and I can't post deals between 2am-7am :(.
