  • How does this foam bed compare to a traditional good quality innerspring?

    • It's a matter of preference between foam and innerspring mattresses. Our Onebed X has a 5-zone pocket spring system if you prefer a more traditional mattress.

    Coming in with a review as a recent purchaser.

    I compared basically all the available mattress in a box offerings and chose OneBed based on price, decent money-back guarantee and the ability to have three different firmnesses as I didn’t want to gamble on a single firmness and have to junk the mattress if it didn’t work. Delivery was prompt, unpack easy - no smell. Casing is nice quality. The foam is just foam but all foam mattresses are. I have it set to medium-firm and after a few days adjustment I’m enjoying it and am sleeping better. Compared to a spring mattress it sleeps hotter but all foam mattresses are like this.

    Would recommend. Especially with 5% cashback.

  • Is it possible to request a delivery date/day? Any delivery on the weekend? I work weekday business hours and no one is home, so won’t be able to accept delivery.

    I prefer not to leave it unattended

    • Unfortunately, we don’t currently offer weekend delivery.

      You can request a preferred delivery date or day by adding it to the special instructions at checkout - and our customer service team will do their best to arrange it. Just note that this needs to be confirmed with our team directly.

      We use third-party couriers (like FedEx/TNT), so while we’ll do everything we can, we don’t have full control over their schedules. If you're in a metro area of VIC or NSW, it's generally much easier for us to accommodate specific delivery dates.

    • We normally allow orders to be held for up to one month.

    Hey, I've purchased one of the essential mattresses the day this deal came live.
    Haven't heard anything at all (except for a confirmation email) since today, got an email from Hunter Express (I'm guessing your delivery contractor?) saying :
    "Delivery reference ### may be a delayed as collection from sender was attempted and the location was either closed or unattended."
    Is it legit, and if so, what is this about?

      As others have noted, there is a lack of support and no responses to emails or phone calls. I placed my order and specified that the shipping should be delayed since I would be out of state. However, I received a call saying they can't hold the package for more than a month, which I initially agreed to. Since I won't be available during that entire period, I am requesting to cancel the order and will place it again once I’m settled. It's disappointing that no one is available to assist with this issue. Additionally, I've seen others share similar concerns, and it seems the positive reviews have only emerged in the last two months. I I don't hear back from them I will raise it with Paypal!

    Placed the order on 28th. more tempted as they mentioned they would deliver on the same day to it delivered quickly as possible. looks like they are struggling to fulfil . I am yet to hear from them apart from the original automated order number.

    Anybody else not heard anything from these guys after placing an order? No response to emails, website inquiries, and phone calls. Order confirmation shows same day delivery but I’ve heard nothing.

    • I got an email today, but they want me to pay the delivery fee now… I'm emailing support and hopefully they will do something but it's wild that I can enter my delivery address and have no indication of an additional fee until a week after I've handed over my money

    Yeah, yesterday I reached out via live chat to confirm if it was being delivered today. They said yes, but I needed to confirm. Which I did, since then crickets!

    Going to file a chargeback if I don’t hear back from them by tomorrow.

      Sleep on it for at least a week so you can make an informed judgement. I didn’t love mine when I first got it, but ended up being very happy once I grew accustomed to it…

        Good luck with that, just before getting to the 125 days return, try cancelling your order now or getting any support! Raise a ticket on their online forum, and you'll receive a blank email with ticket ID in the title that no one will ever reply to.

        Filter their reviews, anything older than a few months is no good, suggesting it's likely overseas paid fake ones.

    We bought late evening on Sunday and just got email saying they ran out of the Original. Have been offered options for their other mattresses.

      I got an email one week after placing the order that they're wanting me to pay a delivery fee.

      It stated free when I put my delivery address in not too be quoted.

      The fact they notified me one week after placing the order when I could have bought another mattress within another large IKEA order I had placed does not make for a good experience. Hoping for some answers soon but the slow responses others are experiencing haven't been reassuring. Was hoping to ditch the camping mattress this month :/

    I also ran into the same issue where they said delivery was free but then asked for a delivery fee of 80 dollars

    Emailed them saying I wanted to cancel, no response

    Calling them goes into voicemail immediately

    Time for charge back I guess

    • I had some level of response through live chat yesterday, but they're last message said they'd follow up but never did. No response this morning and no replies to recent message and can't get through by phone.

      Either everyone is having issues and they're busy or their customer service is a myth. Probably both. Pretty negative experience so far

        I wouldn't give them the benefit of the doubt anymore. Over 5 business days with no response, misleading website, non existent customer service. Ironically had they been upfront of the delivery cost Id have paid for it at time of sale. That's infinitely easier on both parties.

        Id rather have paid a hundred more for a queen style mattress at a local store than have to deal with this

  • Anyone received their mattresses? I've received mine and it's faulty…
    Left it air out for over 24 hours now and the foam on top looks like it's the wrong size, it doesn't match the size of the foam at the base so there's this massive gap on the side of the mattress and I don't think it's normal?

      I tried to warn everyone…. the account is actively logging in but no contact Just like their official channels.

      It's almost like they've made a last ditch to secures thousands from a 'sale' and disappear. I am not surprised if they rebrand or open up with another name after the terrible experiences from this deal.

      I highly recommend posting on product reviews as they have too many positive reviews when i was researching and it really fooled me…

    Ordered day of this promotion, got a email (that went to junk) 3 days later saying additional postage charges are required as apparently the Sunshine Coast in SE QLD is rural, this postage was not added to checkout as you've stated. After following it up today, unit is now out of stock (which is fine), offered 3 alternatives with discounts, but without paying an additional $300 (~50% increase over original purchase) I cant get the interchangeable layer..

    Something Hella dodge about this company. And the lack of customer service is concerning. Almost jumped on this deal but I'll just stick to koala since any issues they'll fix it in a blink of an eye.

      Yep i was offered a replacement after my bad review. They have again ghosted me. Just as i thought they'd redeem themselves, staff are ignoring me again and this post. They were online today so they're definitely still active.

    Has anyone had any luck with a refund from these guys or are most heading down the chargeback path?

    Feel like I’ve been conned. Customer service is a joke. I’ve got the same issue with the topper being smaller than the rest of the matters (along with delivery delays). Just a crap company where the rep has played everyone for fools. Reviews must have been paid for imo.

    I just called the support line and someone actually picked up. First time in 2 years, but the line was so bad.
    They said they have never heard of anyone from ozbargain that would offer a replacement for me. she also was very rude and kept talking over the top of me. This store needs to be banned asap. So frustrating, they're just on here for a few quick sales and disappear each time.

        So I just wanted to share an update. The rep PM me offering to change over the mattress and disappeared.

        On Friday morning, I went to my livechat on onebed from last year was still there with no response - i cleared my cookies and started a new chat and got to someone! they followed up with the team about the PM on ozbargain and they didn't believe a word i was saying. But they said they'd escalate the situation to see if they could find out more. Friday night, wow! I got an email saying they found the team that agreed to a mattress replacement and to send over photos of me marking the mattress and for my shipping details.

        Let's see how this goes. I've sent off everything and they said their warranty claim team will get back to me today…

        I hope to at least get another 5 years from this mattress. Fingers crossed.

        • So I got a replacement mattress which is a different model. It's a lot softer than i normally like but at least I'm not falling into a dip that i couldn't prove with photos because it was only noticeable when laying down! I got my first sleep last night through the night after 2 years on a onebed mattress, the only thing i hope for is it to last this time….

      • A further follow up on this: Last month (Sep) the representative sent an apology message, saying they was burn out. They also followed up on email. After clarification, it seems their internal IT system was malfunctioning and their reply message to my warranty claim was not sent. The representative offered a replacement mattress, same model as me previous one, and delivered to my address in one week. Hopefully it will last.

    This is ridiculous.
    Had placed an order for OneBed Original on 30th of June.
    Had requested in special instructions for delayed delivery.
    Received call today advising no stock.
    Options are upsell up to $315.
    What a joke, the rep said they had to cancel lots of orders.
    Option was to pick one of the alternatives, newer Original was to pay $315 extra.
    Very scammy.

  • Hey guys so I bought this deal when it came out (26 of June), my mattress arrived faulty and I've raised a ticket with them on the 9th of July ( Date I received it) and still haven't heard anything back to this day.
    I'm thinking about doing a "chargeback" as some people mentioned before but I've never done that in my life before… What does that implies? Any guidance appreciated 🙏

  • I am in the same boat as a lot of others, ordered the $500 Original, was advised of no stock and attempted to upsell. I asked for a refund, which I had to follow up on twice before they agreed to process it. 8 days later, the refund was processed back to my account.

    Very painful process, stay away!

    Just following up for future references, bought a mattress on this deal. Didn't hear a peep after the confirmation email which was fine because I was away anyway. When I emailed a week after purchase asking about progress I was told it would be a further $300 for delivery (not mentioned in checkout when I put my address during payment). I asked for a refund and then got ghosted for 2 weeks (no reply via email or phone). Only after posting something on Product review and starting a chargeback process with my bank did I get a reply and a refund. This whole process took about 5-6 weeks.

    Hello,
    Has anyone had a OneBed rep reach out to them to try and make up for the poor experience and to resolve any grievances with their purchase? I had a rep named William Ellis contact me to make good any of the issues I've faced. After replying back with photos of the issues, he's gone cold and stopped replying.

    Anyone else have a similar experience? He contacted me via DM on ozbargain and then had a small back and forth via email and now…nothing…with no resolution.

    Definitely would be avoiding this company in the future.
