FWIW I've had this vacuum for almost a year and have not had one of those issues in the Reddit link. As always with any tech you will find people that have issues. That reviewer was complaining because their house has spider webs that get on the lidar and make it go crazy, so it must be a design issue. I don't know about most houses but if you have spider webs then get yourself some pest control or maybe the house is filthy, makes me believe a lot of the other issues are 'house' issues.

It's an awesome vacuum, I do wish it could get into edges better but it craps all over the X2 Omni I ended up returning.

      • Another solid vote for the S1 I upgraded from an Eufy X20 to this one and couldn’t be happier. My house consists of mainly wooden floors and they’ve never looked better. The multi floor mapping is a pain and yes it could get closer to the edges but otherwise it’s a solid choice.

Like all things there will always be something newer and better but I would consider this for this price. If and when it drops below $1,000 I’ll buy another one to solve my multi floor issue.

        • 1k would be great.

Also oops sorry for neg. I can’t correct it, may bad.

      • Ok thank you. Yea I heard about missing cornerstones

It is hard to keep up with the list from Vacuum wars, but similar exp from the ones above, great robo vacuum as i run it every day on area around 112 m2, mainly tiles and laminated wood.

      6 months review:
I do feel the clean water get used quicker, a full one will be almost used up in 3-4 days.
Also notice some water drops every now and then, but very minor and not an issue as it runs everyday
Can be abit loud when emptying
The soap lasts almost 6 months, the bag lasts a bit longer- mainly for wife's hair and crumbs from my toddler and no pet.
Mop lifting is great, my rug is always dry
Probably tangled once with the bath mat.. other than that great avoidance

      • How does it go dealing with hair? Does it get tangled in the brush a lot?

  • Trying to decide between this and the X8 Pro or even the X9 Pro if it comes to Australia. I suspect if you mostly have hard floors then this would be a good option.

  • I am surprised that they didn't release a follow-up model to this one. All the others have a new flagship every few months

    • I think E25 came with rolling mop post this

  • How's their warranty etc?
